The Havana area is awesome, though.  We were on a full ship at Christmas and never was it busy.  Also, I found the people seemed nicer as well but maybe that was because they aren't fighting for a chair.

I am sure that is exactly why they are friendlier, no chairs hogs!

Good to know on a full ship at one of the busiest times of the year the Havana area was still not busy.

Looking forward to our cruise in March!

And the reasons you state you prefer Carnival are the reasons those that cruise Cunard prefer Cunard. They choose that line for the experience.

I wouldn't call one line better than another, just offering a product that is different to appeal to a different audience.

Agreed!  At some point in my life, I may prefer Cunard over Carnival, I hope not, but I might??  Good to have the different types of cruises for all the different wants and needs of passengers.

We just had a Havana interior on the Vista the week before last, and it was so worth being in an interior in order to have access to the Havana pool! Coves are my favorite rooms on ships that have them, but on Vista class ships, I will take an Havana interior over a cove balcony any day.

Good to know.....cannot wait to get on the Panorama and enjoy the Havana area!

Thanks for the responses, although both sound great, so I am still torn!

I guess it really depends on how much you like to use the pool areas and how much time you plan to spend on your balcony?

For us, we love balconies, but decided for this cruise to try out the Havana area(inside) and see what it is like to have a whole area with no fighting for lounge chairs or space and our own bar.  We fully expect to love it!

We paid pretty much the same price for an interior Havana as a cove balcony.

  5. We had a cove booked for our Panorama cruise in March.  We decided to move to Havana area(inside) to take advantage of this area and the fact that there should not be many kiddos there and much less crowded than the regular pool area.  We are excited about the Havana area.

Hopefully we made the right decision.

    Greetings,

When I go to manage my cruise, go to categories -> Fly2Fun my booking shows correctly I click on search flights and in next windows I get

    "

    LoadingLoading
    Carnival Cruise Lines
    "

And the search stops on https://ezbook.carnival.com/

I did try it on different browsers (Mozilla, Chrome, IE, Edge) different computers (at work at home) but with same result.

I know i have to call but I hate calling and figuring all the choices on the phone.

    Anyone has the same problem?

I went into my manager and clicked on the 'Categories' drop down menu on top left hand side.  Fly2Fun will be the last option.  However, when you click on it, the page that (I assume) takes you to the flight options has not been able to load. I'm thinking I still need to call them directly?

Thanks...that was the one place I did not look 🙄

Do you or your husband like the Gold Peak teas?  Or the Starbucks frappachinos?  Those are included after the switch over to Pepsi.  Do you both drink a ton of bottled water? Do you want to start your day with coffee from the coffee shop?  Would your husband drink virgin drinks?

I think it would be difficult to break even, but not impossible- there are a lot of non alcoholic drinks that aren't free.  Why not find one of the drink spreadsheets, add in what you think you'd drink, and see where that puts you.  I'm not a huge drinker but I love those teas and bottled starbucks drinks.  If they weren't so sugary, I'd happily drink those all day long (but then I'd be bouncing off the walls so I'm not going to)

If you find Cheers doesn't make sense for you, you can always buy discounted Carnival gift cards in various ways online, and then use those to buy Cruise Cash.  The Cruise Cash is on your account when you board, so you don't start your trip with a visit to guest services.  And you can cash out the leftovers in the casino.

Just curious as to where one might find discounted GC online?

  9. Personally, I would just buy the drinks I wanted each day.  Unless you are a big drinker, I do not personally think you will come out ahead with buying Cheers.  As other shave said, you would need to buy 10+ drink every day, even on port days.  But that being said, it is your vacation and do what ever you think will make your vacation the most enjoyable!

Have purchased this twice, enjoyed it both times. Our tour was always conducted on a sea day. It depends on when the ship schedules the tour. One note, if you want to do it get to guest services or excursions as soon as you can after boarding, this sells out quickly.

Why does staff have to "babysit" your bottles? You can take them back to your cabin to enjoy

We were not given the option(not to say it was not an option) to take them back to our room, but they would keep them for us in the MD to enjoy when we had dinner.  But it seems that everyone has had different options given to them??
