Beer drinkers, order the Foster's oil can and you will get 25.4 oz beer for the same price of an 16 ozer. I thought it was weird that Coors an Bud light was more expensive the Blue Moon. By the way Foster's on the menu was $7 but never was charged more than $6. The Foo Foo drink at the Show was $5 and you got to keep the glass

Any other tips, I get the lens sometime in next 3 hours, need to do some serious wide angle stuff tomorrow to get comfortable with it. I bought a aftermarket Micro adapter and it now works!!. I still ordered a new 64GB SDXC card just in case.

I wonder if i could just get the adapter?

Amazon Samsung EVO card , I have read some people have issues just checking with everyone here. If I can't get to work I will ship it back

Has anyone had issues with using a Mirco card? I threw in a new 64gb SDXC card and the camera will not read it.

Sharon, check out Zackiedawg and Pierces photo sites (they are on this thread), you can't do what these guys do with a P&S. Most of their shots are what you did with your daughter, taking pictures on things you love.

Sharon I am sure after you saw those shots you were very pleased. You did great, you just need to continue with what you started. Go somewhere with a couple of lens and play. The zoo can be a great place to bring various lens and see how easy it is, just remember a question not asked is never answered.

Okay guys living in AZ I don't have much experience shooting in severe overcast/rain, and of course my cruise next week going down western Caribbean will have a good chance of everyday wetness. What settings would y'all use or just go auto?
John
PS just ordered some OP Tech rainsleeves (small)

I broke down and finally got the A6000 with the 2 lens kit. My Olympus E-M10 just wasn't getting the job done for action and lowlight shots.
Best Buy had it for $749, about $100 lower than usual. I've been checking Gary Fong's Youtube videos and some others. Now to scope out some decent prime lenses.
I'll post some pictures later.
Congrats, the camera will really change your outlook of taking pictures, its a joy!!!

Why do you have the tg4 as second? it is more highly rated, yes cost alittle more but right now I believe it is the number one waterproof point and shoot.

Hired professionals to kill the hive last week
, but they wanted $700 to remove the hive, I have been slowly cutting away and last night I exposed the honeycomb, tired I went to bed and early this morning I went out to remove the beast but I had several hundred robber bees, so I have spend the day spraying them with soapy water and should be able to remove it tonight.
last night it was beautiful dripping honey and all, I really wanted the early morning sun highlighting the honeycomb but yall got the washed out picture.

I have been dealing with bees for four years now (long story Hillbilly neighbors) , finally cut a large hole in my Honeysuckle vine and found this

Great shots, I drive by them on the way home to North Phoenix but to stop and shoot in this temperature (114 the last week) is too crazy for me. I often think about driving to them at night one weekend the lights are supposedly great

I agree with Tom the kit is an easy sell, I bet some of us would offer you a decent price for some the lens

why don't you just go to Borrow Lense or Lens Rental and get a lens that will make Alaska memorable

When I posted a similar question, the SEL 50 f1.8 and/or Rokinon 12 f2 came up several times. I bought the 50mm and saving for the 12.

Shooter thats a good tip, I was thinking of converting my hiking fanny pack to carry the extra lens and stuff. This will add the extra protection.

Thanks I got tired bidding on the Sony and losing it in the last second. The Olympus cost me $5 so I can take a chance

Ok, I just bought an Olympus C-180 teleconverter for my 55-210. I need to buy an step-up ring does it matter what type or metal? I should get them in time for my photo safari up north in the Canyonlands. Forecast unfortunately is rain all weekend so I don't know how the sunbeams will be in Antelope Canyon :(

Navigator balconies on hump
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Just got off we were on the 6th floor and had the middle Balcony, on each side the rooms were connected. Made it a nice big balcony, thought ours were on the small side but enjoy being able to see stern to bow.
