  1. Beer drinkers, order the Foster's oil can and you will get 25.4 oz beer for the same price of an 16 ozer. I thought it was weird that Coors an Bud light was more expensive the Blue Moon. By the way Foster's on the menu was $7 but never was charged more than $6. The Foo Foo drink at the Show was $5 and you got to keep the glass

  2. Any other tips, I get the lens sometime in next 3 hours, need to do some serious wide angle stuff tomorrow to get comfortable with it. I bought a aftermarket Micro adapter and it now works!!. I still ordered a new 64GB SDXC card just in case.

  3. Sharon I am sure after you saw those shots you were very pleased. You did great, you just need to continue with what you started. Go somewhere with a couple of lens and play. The zoo can be a great place to bring various lens and see how easy it is, just remember a question not asked is never answered.

  4. Okay guys living in AZ I don't have much experience shooting in severe overcast/rain, and of course my cruise next week going down western Caribbean will have a good chance of everyday wetness. What settings would y'all use or just go auto?

PS just ordered some OP Tech rainsleeves (small)

  5. I broke down and finally got the A6000 with the 2 lens kit. My Olympus E-M10 just wasn't getting the job done for action and lowlight shots.

Best Buy had it for $749, about $100 lower than usual. I've been checking Gary Fong's Youtube videos and some others. Now to scope out some decent prime lenses.

    I'll post some pictures later.

Congrats, the camera will really change your outlook of taking pictures, its a joy!!!

  6. Hired professionals to kill the hive last week

, but they wanted $700 to remove the hive, I have been slowly cutting away and last night I exposed the honeycomb, tired I went to bed and early this morning I went out to remove the beast but I had several hundred robber bees, so I have spend the day spraying them with soapy water and should be able to remove it tonight.

last night it was beautiful dripping honey and all, I really wanted the early morning sun highlighting the honeycomb but yall got the washed out picture.

  7. Great shots, I drive by them on the way home to North Phoenix but to stop and shoot in this temperature (114 the last week) is too crazy for me. I often think about driving to them at night one weekend the lights are supposedly great

  8. Ok, I just bought an Olympus C-180 teleconverter for my 55-210. I need to buy an step-up ring does it matter what type or metal? I should get them in time for my photo safari up north in the Canyonlands. Forecast unfortunately is rain all weekend so I don't know how the sunbeams will be in Antelope Canyon :(
