I read the fine print again on the coffee package and.....it will work. It says the specialty coffees CAN be shared but only the card holder can drink the complimentary brewed coffee and hot chocolate. So, if I get the package, my husband can have 15 espresso coffee drinks and I can have as many complimentary hot chocolates as I want!!!!!

Perhaps, if he orders a hot chocolate and you are the one who drinks it, ...
I think you'd get a "funny" look if he ordered a coffee AND hot chocolate! I don't mind paying for it so no problem.

Yes, these are all over social media and especially TikTok
Sure hope people aren't silly enough to fall for it.

We don't drink alcohol, my husband drinks coffee and I drink hot chocolate. We are getting the soda packages and he will get a coffee package. I know my husband can have all the free hot chocolate he wants with the coffee package but he doesn't drink hot chocolate. Can I purchase a hot chocolate at IC any time I want one?

I have come across numerous ads for NEXUS card applications that promise you will be processed quickly and able to travel within 30 days!!!!! What a bunch of scammers.

Sounds good, but I really like some of the specialty ice cream sandwich flavors Princess has on board.
When we were on Grand Princess I was so looking forward to the pina colada option. NEVER had it, only chocolate chip.

Just booked Toronto-Athens, Rome-Toronto for September 2023 on A/C. The price to Athens was very reasonable (Wednesday) but the price from Rome (Saturday) was quite expensive. The last time we flew Rome return it was what we are now paying for the one way. Oh well, at least we got the flight times and seats we wanted. That is........if they don't change/cancel the flights!!!!!

@JimmyVWineThanks so much for a fun, interesting read and amazing photos. We're on the14 night Enchanted September 2023 Athens to Rome. Really found your advice on Kotor very useful. A lovely family and a positive attitude!

Two small checked bags (now with Apple Air Tags); each packed with clothing for both of us just in case one goes missing.
Small carry on packed with one change of clothing each and medications. A backpack with snacks/entertainment for the flight. No swimwear or formal wear. Colour coordinate. Sneakers on our feet, one pair of dress shoes packed.

As part of American night (the final dinner of the voyage when returning to US ports$
I have never heard it called American night. It’s always been Farewell Gala on all the cruises we’ve been on.

Always had this on every Celebrity cruise we were on but it definitely wasn’t called “American Night”!

We are in our 70’s, fully vaccinated and wear our masks everywhere. We did a 14 night Alaska cruise in May return from Vancouver as we didn’t want to fly into any US airports. We wore our masks consistently, washed our hands frequently and got off elevators if unmasked guests got on. We didn’t go to any social events or shows and spent lots of time on our balcony. We are so used to wearing masks it just doesn’t bother us at all. We’ve booked a 14 night Norwegian fjords/Iceland cruise for May out if Southampton and a 14 night Mediterranean out of Athens for September. We will be wearing our masks regardless of rules or other passengers and I’m sure we’ll have an amazing time.

We booked inside guaranteed only once and ended up with an inside cabin in a perfect location.

News today (sorry, don’t know how to post the article) is that NEXUS negotiations between CANADA and U.S. are not going well, no sign of the Canadian Centres reopening and there is mention of the program being discontinued. Sure hope they are wrong. 🤞🏻

My experience is that unused specialty coffees remain on your account and carry over. The unlimited free brewed coffee, tea and hot chocolate does not carry over.
Can you please explain to me what I need to buy to get unlimited hot chocolate? We don’t drink alcohol so buy the Soda package and the 15 specialty coffee package which also includes tea and hot chocolate. I don’t understand where the “unlimited free brewed coffee, tea and hot chocolate” comes in.

They are the same, but the prep can be different. It depends on the chef and his staff.
Thanks. I was sure that’s what I had read on numerous posts; same menus.

@wowzzSO sorry. I thought I had read numerous posts about the menus being the same ship wide. My mistake.

We were on a 14 night Alaska cruise on the Grand and we loved the main dining room choices and food. Everything was excellent.

We will be visiting the following ports on Sky Princess in May 2023;
Skjolden – 16th 7-4
Olden – 17th 9-6
Alesund – 18th 7-4
Would I be correct in thinking that I would need to be on our balcony very early when we sail into Skjolden and Olden to really enjoy the fjords? Also, I’ve read about some amazing Norwegian pastries. Any recommendations for a café in any of these ports?
LHR to Southampton coach?
