    We were there end of April-first week in May. I thought the weather was perfect. It was warm but not too hot. Water temp didn't matter to us. We were more interested in sightseeing.

    I'm really happy to read all that you wrote. I had been meaning to ask for some time how he was doing. The picture prompted me to bring it up.

    It is really nice to see you say that. More times than not around here a typical response would be something like.... I don't have breakfast or coffee in the lounge so I don't care if they get rid of it. Doesn't affect me.

    All I will say is that I'm not a big Radiance class fan for the same reasons as your husband. Our cruise on Serenade was fine but several of us missed the Promenade including my mother who managed to mention it several times during the week. And when mama ain't happy....😉😄

    That is unfortunate. I enjoyed sitting out there in the morning with a cappuccino.

    Looks to me like the diabetes adjustment has gone just fine. Allow me to say I told you so.😉

    If they were losing out on drinks I could see the problem. I don't see the snacks as a big deal requiring a replacement. Finding something to eat on a cruise ship doesn't take much effort.

    Best time of day on a ship as far as I'm concerned. Fortunately for people like us most folks in the ship never experience it.🙂

    Kraken Mango sounds good! I make a Kraken Orange, Mango, and Cranberry juice combo drink.

    I meant the outdoor deck area at the opposite end from where you enter the DL.

    Just like I remember it. Is the outside seating area available to use?

    I'd like to tour it but I'm afraid they would never let me leave.

    I don't know why they still say beverages are to be consumed in there since it is no longer an unlimited drink happy hour where you might be bringing drinks our to friends.

    That spider picture has traumatized me forever.

    I don't think the lounges are a monster at all. RCI fixed the problem with the vouchers. Now if there is room in there for you great. If there is no room so be it. It is no different than going to the Schooner Bar when it is packed. You get what you find. Now you get your 4, 5, or six drinks no matter what. During the day and after happy hour the lounge is there to use as you please.

    I'd like to get one of the new glasses, fill it with water and pour it into one of my old RCI hurricane glasses to determine the difference in volume.

    Those drink glasses seem to me to be shrinking compared the past years.

    Fortunately for me I'm not a whiskey drinker. Cruises suck out enough of my bank account.
