And don't forget that while making these changes (cuts) they have also amped ships by stuffing more cabins (people) into the ships creating more competition for public space, deck loungers, Windjammer seating, bartender attention, etc. One only has to have cruised during the restart at reduced capacity to realize what amazing experiences those cruises were. Imagine bartenders with the time to actually practice their craft learning your particular likes and making concoctions they thought you might like. Walking into the Solarium at 10 AM and not having to go on a hunt for seating was a treat. Yeah, now go ahead and charge for Sorrento's...🙄

I was looking for a second cruise for next spring as well as a winter cruise 2025. I'm not booking either at present pricing. For me it is not a matter of staying within a budget. I'm simply not booking if I don't feel that I'm getting good value for my money. Present pricing doesn't do it for me.

At checkin sometimes they re-ask you the same questions they ask in the app. Don't worry about it. RCI's IT does a lot of things that make no sense to anyone. Did you answer yes to any of the questions?

The economy has always gone in cycles. RCI will need us again just as they needed us for the restart.

The young families will all want Oasis and Icon bells and whistles. RCI needs those of us who would be happy on R/V/F class ships, too.

I love the Windjammer for dinner. Unfortunately, many more people are now taking that option so it is not the quiet venue that it used to be. However, it still suits me just fine. Going a bit later works best for me.
