  1. Just don't expect anything even remotely resembling a liquor store.
  2. The vendor area does have a selection of local alcohol for sale. It is in the white, no haggling building not in the vendor stalls.
  3. October is typically a very nice month also. November tend to be the transition month.
  4. Seems to me that if my dear friend truly appreciated her fans that she would not want a father to be in the position of having to spend that kind of money to make his daughters happy. Maybe it is her fans' money that she truly appreciates. I also don't think much of a kid who would want a parent to spend that kind of money. Seem very selfish to me.
  5. You raise some very good points. I don't usually book too far out but I was looking at 2005. The sailings I am looking at show very few cabins available and the pricing makes me feel that I would not be getting value for the money spent. So I will continue to watch rather than give RCI my deposit this far out. And if pricing does not improve then I simply won't cruise as I would not enjoy the experience anyway if I feel the cost is excessive.
  6. I don't have a last time doing gardening as I have not yet had my first. Once a week on the lawn tractor is my limit for anything that involves the yard.
  7. Very rainy day here. I feel badly for people going to my dear friend's concert tonight. The news says that they cannot even bring umbrellas into the stadium. I am very happy to be in my den and I'm staying right here. Fortunately, it is after noon time so alcohol is allowed.🙂
  8. What is fascinating is the complexity of the human immune system not to mention the rest of the body. It is incredible that we have existed at all. And that applies to other complex life forms at well.
  9. Your immune system attacks bacteria just as it does viruses. Why would you say that it would not beef up your immune system?
  10. I don't usually go for western itineraries but in this case I would. That southern itinerary is hardly southern and isn't even a very good eastern.
  11. OP, I too am an O class lover. I had little interest in trying a Q class ship but sailed Odyssey this past February because the date and price worked for me. I loved the ship and actually have it booked again for next winter. It is a different experience from O class but in a good way. I found it easier to relax and not feel like I had to be doing something every minute. And the ship is beautiful. There is plenty to do so you won't be bored. The best I can say is give it a try and see for yourself. One other good point is that the ship is not so weather dependant. The covered solarium works with rain and I have been on O class sailings when the Aqua Theater was cancelled almost the entire week due to weather or technical issues. And Central Park isn't much fun in the rain either.
  12. I can't say that I wouldn't sail Enchantment again as I have no interest in doing it once.
  13. Most of the time I can't stand Dylan's voice and Springsteen sounds like he is oversinging and screaming everything. When he takes it down about 100 pegs for a ballard I actually enjoy listening to him.
