  1. I highly doubt that this will be ship specific. RCI just has a habit of rolling out new policies with poor communication between corporate and the ships.
  2. It isn't really so much about debarkation morning as it is more about getting an extra few drinks after midnight on the last night for the night owls.... when the bars are very open.
  3. I see your point. I guess the way to look at it is that when you get up in the morning you get a certain number of drinks and that is renewed when you get up the next morning.... or whatever time of day you happen to role out of bed. It may actually work better on port days when you get back to the ship later. Now people will have more time to spread out their drinks unless they tend to be in bed before midnight.
  4. In the past on day 7 another set of vouchers was loaded at midnight technically making that day 8 vouchers.
  5. In the past when things reset at midnight on the last day of the cruise you could get your drinks and then at midnight you got another set of drinks loaded. Now on the last day you get your drinks and you are done as there is not reset at midnight. I don't see this as a positive change.
  6. And if you didn't know where the money was going? I do appreciate him not using that as a way to garner votes as it has nothing to do with how the game was played.
  7. I understand what you are saying. I have issues with having to plan as opposed to spontaneity. But then when I'm on deck watching a sunrise or sitting on my balcony at night looking out over the ocean and sipping a drink I'm reminded of why I love cruising.
  8. I can't wait to be back into sandals. Winter was a bit slow getting here but it has felt fairly brutal since it's arrival.
  9. Thanks! 11684 I can't really find anything that disappoints me with the location. Cabins above and below, not a connecting cabin, not obstructed view. I think I'm good!
  10. Question.... I have a balcony guarentee on Odyssey. My set sail pass is showing deck 11 and muster station D5 but cabin number is still GTY. Anything I should be concerned about on deck 11? And I remember reading about a way to scan the bar code on the set sail pass to obtain a cabin number. Anyone remember that or how to obtain the number. I suspect that if a deck and muster is appearing then a cabin must be assigned.
  11. We did one cruise, I think on Freedom, where it rained pretty much all week. That was a bit odd for the Caribbean. I hope it doesn't happen to you. We even missed Labadee because of waves breaking over the pier. I see you are there with Explorer, the first RCI ship that we sailed on.
