I know they're on the not permitted list. That generally does not mean that you will not be able to board but they will confiscate the banned item at the gangway and return it at disembarkation. Not sure how you get a definite answer but I wonder if they would allow you to reclaim it temporarily on a port call. Roy

For the IPAD enthusiasts, I am pretty much a PC person but I have long also had IPADS for their portability. I have: An Ipad Air from 2014 A Mini 4 from 2017. Sometime around March the Air suddenly lost connectivity. The wifi page in settings was blank except for an on-off switch that did not respond. It may have been a mistake but I then bought a new IPAD Generation 9. Since then the Mini 4 has been behaving the same way and I finally figured out that in settings there was a setting to reset the network. That eventually also worked for the IPAD Air but the problem REGULARLY recurs. When the WIFI is down there's also an option to "Transfer to New IPAD" and I think I have tried it but they're all legitimately all mine and I just want to get what I have back, and the problem still recurs FREQUENTLY (this week it happened to the Air on 2 successive days). Any ideas? Roy

I think you were hoping for a cancellation opening up an earlier date. I hope that doesn't happen while you're getting your grandparent fix. Roy

It is now 10:03. At this time the brave passengers and crew of UA 93 overwhelmed their highjackers and the plane crashed in Somerset County PA. Roy

It is now 9:59AM. At this time 21 years ago the South Tower collapsed: Roy

It is now 9:37AM. At this time AA 77 struck the Pentagon. This hit me particularly hard because I was only about 30 miles away. Roy

I was at the office on 9/11/01. My colleague at the next desk had a family member at the WTC and we heard about a plane striking the tower but assumed it was a light aircraft (her family member was ok). It is now 9:03AM when the second tower was struck and we then knew it was more than an accident. Roy
