  1. Yes, the bookings are linked and I still can’t make reservations online.
  2. Does anyone know how to work around this dilemma? We are cruising with friends and wish to make dining reservations, but it is not allowing us to do that because they paid for their cruise in USD and we paid in CAD. Anytime Dining doesn’t incur a charge, so it shouldn’t be an issue, but it is. On our last cruise we made separate dining reservations (at the same time) and then had to have them combined by the Maître’d once we were onboard. Has anyone else been able to find a workaround for this problem?

  4. Wow...we were on the Equinox Nov. 30-Dec.10 sailings and enjoyed the Decoy regularly with no upcharge.
  5. Thanks...that looks like exactly what happened. On the phone with Celebrity right now. OBC looks to be back to normal, but the invoice is still showing $5000 extra than we should be paying. *sigh*
  6. I just got an email from Celebrity with the following message: I have made no changes to my booking except changing from 8:30 Dining to Anytime Dining. Has anyone had an erroneous message like this before?
  7. This happened to us when we tried to book an aft premium balcony. I am not impressed with this tactic Princess is using. I want to be able to choose a specific cabin.
  8. We just had a fabulous cruise on the Equinox! Don’t let someone else’s opinion affect your attitude towards your trip. Your experience may be very different like mine. 😊
  9. Having cruised both Majestic Princess and the Equinox this fall, I can confirm that Princess’ storage and closet situation is heads and tails above the S class ships. That would not deter me from sailing Equinox again, though! The balconies on the Majestic are pathetically tiny! I would take an Equinox balcony any day over a balcony that small. In fact, there are 12 of us (new friends from this trip!) that loved our Equinox cruise so much that we have booked on her next year for a Med cruise. I hope that the dry dock can addresss some of the Equinox “tired” areas (hello Ensemble “Cave” Lounge!), but the crew we interacted with were lovely, the food was great and the bartenders were as attentive as they could be at the busy Martini Bar (our preferred meeting place).
  10. It’s all good now…booked direct with Martin at Princess Elite group bookings, got the cabins we wanted, saved $86 on each cabin got an extra $50 per cabin OBC. Bye-bye cranky TA!
  11. Update #2…my call to Princess was well worth it! We were able to be booked into the exact cabin we wanted and our friends just need to call to change their bookings appropriately. Three aft balconies side by side will be amazing! Sometimes it pays be be persistent…and no one needs to have to deal with a cranky TA who won’t do his job. So sorry/not sorry to cancel with him.
  12. Update: I asked the TA if we made final payment early, could we request that Princess make our cabin assignment in the category which we booked. He refused to call and ask. I have now called Princess to see if there is anything we can do. It is ridiculous that only large parties can book aft balcony cabins! If Princess will accommodate us, I will be cancelling our bookings with the TA and rebooking with Princess.
  13. At this point I wish I had self-booked this cruise. Our travel companions wanted to book through a TA (so we did), but he has done nothing but complain about calling Princess regarding our booking. I asked him to call today and he said he was NOT able to book a specific cabin for the premium deluxe balcony category. We were not given a choice to book this category and choose our own cabin, so we are left with a crapshoot that we will have the cabins we want, even though we booked months in advance…and the cabins are available.
  14. Does anyone know how it is possible to book a premium deluxe aft balcony cabin on the Regal for 2 passengers? Our TA booked us into a guarantee and no cabins show on Princess.com for 2, but almost ALL of the cabins are available if you search using 3 passengers. What gives? If we make final payment early can we lock in the specific cabins we want? Any help you can give would appreciated.
  15. She has said in the past that is 3 months on/3 months off? If you have Captain Leo, he is fantastic and I would sail with him again anytime.
  16. Captain Kate has said on Instagram that she is currently on her last sailing before a 3 month break. It looks like Captain Leo is taking over for her while she’s on holiday.
  17. Call Celebrity and ask them to make the change. I saved $220 over two cruises yesterday by calling.

  19. Unfortunately Catherine’s is not doing day passes at this time. I talked with them a few days ago to confirm our reservation and got this info. We have daybeds booked, but will just order off the menu.
  20. Thank you for all your help, @PORT ROYAL! I just contacted Sheer Rocks and they only allow daybe use from 11:45 onward, so I think we will stick with Catherine’s Cafe since they will allow us to go in at 10am.

  22. @PORT ROYAL Is there “rush hour” traffic getting back from Catherine’s Cafe? Both restaurants look amazing, and trying to figure out if it is worth going further to a beach, or closer to a pool/view. I wish we had two days in Antigua so I could do both! We are in port from 9:00am-5:00 pm.
  23. Has anyone been to both Catherine’s Cafe and Sheer Rocks? If so, which did you like better and why?
