In April, on the Euribia, it was Euro, as you can board in any of the ports, and a few years ago on the Preziosa it was also Euro. The Virtuosa is GBP, as you can only board in Southampton

Back in April, we had a time of 1pm, arrived at 11am and were onboard at 11.10. The worst case is they send you away till 5.

I would fly to Southampton the day before, as if the weather is bad(Very windy), the flight can be cancelled. -
