We are looking to go to Belneario Illetas. Do we need to make reservations in advance for the sunbeds or could we just purchase them when we get there?

My husband likes to take pictures of landscapes. We will be in Cinque Terre one day and I want to get all the beautiful buildings and landscape there but also going to Rome and would like to get pics of all the things there. I believe all that we will be taking pictures of will be outside. Besides the ship which would be some inside pictures.

We are heading to Europe for the first time this May. We are also trying to pack as light as possible. We have a canon DSLR rebel however I was thinking of not taking that and just sticking with our Iphone for all of our pictures. Will I regret this? I definitely want to make a photo book with our pictures. Another option is to take the DSLR with maybe 2 lenses instead of the entire backpack size camera bag. What are your suggestions?

I just cancelled and rebooked the UBP for $62. By rebooking it saved me $70. So glad I check these prices daily.

I found 2 excursions. One through the cruise line going to Aix en Provence. That one is a walking guided tour. The other one is from a third party vendor not sure if I am allowed to mention who the company is but it is an excursion in marseille. This one is a small group tour with a guide. These are some of the things we would see. Explore the Palais Longchamp and learn about its historical significance Tour the Old Port and hear about its transformation from your guide Climb the to the basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde for ocean views Knowing about these areas better then me Which one would you choose?

Could we take a taxi from the port in Marseille to Provence? Would it be easy to get a taxi back to port from Provence?

Others may have already mentioned this but the biggest draw back with getting a suite is you can't go back to a lower category cabin. We had our first Grand Suite on Oasis in 2016 and we haven't been able to get a regular balcony again. We will be cruising in our 3rd Grand Suite in May on Symphony.

I can't say enough good things about Bonine. I take it the night before the flight and then every night of the cruise. I like to take it at night just incase it does make me drowsy I wont feel it. I actually take 2 one doesn't seem to work for me. My husband doesn't get seasick so we weren't sure about our son but he is just like his dad and doesn't get sea sick. Apparently I'm the only one that gets sick.

We just plan to walk along the Arno River and go over the famous bridge over the Arno river. My plan was to a few jewelry stores and stop for Gelato. I wasn't planning on going to visit any of the churches or museums. I'll take your suggestion and check some other threads to get some alternate ideas.

Oh no this is exactly what I'm afraid of. I also didn't realize you have to switch trains.

Does anyone know of a tour taking the train from Le Spezia to Florence? I've looked but can't seem to find one. I'd go on my own except I'm concerned I will miss the train or get on the wrong one when I head back to Le Spezia.

My understanding from other threads I've read is you go to the ATM at a bank and you can get Euros that way. The advice was not to go to any ATM on the street or at the airport.

These are all such great suggestions. Walking along and going over the Bridge that is over the Arno river would be awesome since my grandfathers name was Arno. We will be celebrating our 25th wedding Anniversary while on this trip and my husband just said last night that maybe we will go into some jewelry stores to pick up new wedding bands or a nice new ring for us. If you have any suggestions on any specific jewelry stores that would be much appreciated. We are foodies and plan to have lunch while visiting Florence. A good pizza or some fresh Pasta would be good. Also we are not leaving Florence with out some Gelato. Any store you suggest? Thank you all so much for your help.

I've read on other threads that getting your Euro's at the bank is better then just going to an ATM somewhere.

Aside from visiting Churches and Museums what else is there to do in Florence? If it matters we will be there on a Wednesday.

This same thing happened to us recently. I called and was able to get a savings of $300.

Our cruise will be docking in Marseille. Can we get off the ship and walk to the center of town or would we need to get a taxi or are there shuttle buses there to take you to town?

We will be staying in Barcelona for about 3 days before our cruise. We'd like to get to a winery at some point during that time. Is there one close enough that we could take a taxi there?

Can anyone suggest a beach to go to and best way to get there?

I should have booked last night with Tap air today price went up so it was back to the drawing board. I ended up booking with United out of Newark on a direct flight both ways. We do have to leave a few days early and come home the day after the cruise but I figure that just gives us more time to explore Barcelona and not be in such a rush to see everything.

Has anyone flown on Tap Portugal? Air2Sea came back with a flight with this carrier but I've never heard of them.

I know!!! I don't think it will work but I'd like to attempt it. I'm always so fearful of the airlines losing my luggage.
