    Discovery II. After last week's hiccup, the Ship is on her way to Cumazal Mexico after a day at sea.

    Looks like the above-mentioned ship is back on track after last week's little hiccup. I feel sorry for those that had their cruise cancelled last week. Fingers crossed, no more mishaps, eh!

    Don't think it will get sorted on here. As TUI/Marella don't monitor these pages. All you are doing are telling most people that already know that Disco II has operational Issues.

    I should imagine avoiding port fees that they put to sea to avoid these costs.

    Sound like all the Fridges went down? As I used to work in HVAC back in the day its find the leak with a pressurized Nitrogen gas, degas repressurize to make sure it's holding then Re gas with refrigerant gas 145 and run. I would imagine they will have to fly out a specialized firm.

    We have done 7 cruises since 2021 and not all with Marella, and we have been all good. A few hoops jumped in the early days, but last 3 cruises have been brilliant and all back to normal.

    Most Cruise lines are slowly dropping the Covid rules, Marella always seem to be the last to follow..fingers crossed that they do soon. Save a lot of hassles but as always safety comes 1st..

    We bought the Plastic sleeves of Amazon and attached when we arrived at our destination when we lugged our cases off the carousel (sp) they are very strong and can be used for eons.

    Yes, all Jacuzzis were operational, only pic I had was 1 be cleaned. But they were being used. there was nigh on 5k passengers on, but didn't seem full. have you been on before?

    Hi Simon, we have just this last week come off the Iona and never had bad service for the 12 days when on her. Through to all the drinking outlets and MDRs all were well served in a timely manner. I like you went on the P&O pages..but was pleasantly surprised on our experience.

    Just to follow this up, when I complained. It said will follow up in 28 days, 90 days later I got an Email. But because I was away on the Iona for 12 days, didn't receive this until this week. They managed to get in touch eventually and spoke to a very nice work from home Holiday rep and was offered compensation which I put to my Cruise on the Voyager. Happy days.

    Sorry, late to the party. just came back off the PandO Iona. . We have booked 2 weeks for the inaugural cruise on the 3rd June 2023
