Will we need to go through any customs/immigration coming from Rome?

Our cruises finishes Nov 23/23. I have never been to Amstertam airport before Thur - Nov 23/23 - KLM #1602 FCO (Rome) - 12:45pm - AMS (Amsterdam) - 3:20pm stopover - 2 hr 35 m Thur Nov 23/23 - KLM #695 AMS - 5:30pm - YYZ (Toronto) 7:50pm Will 2 hr 35 m be enough time between flights? Will we have to go through any customs/immigration in AMS?

I reserved a room on Wed Dec 21, I have not received a confirmation email yet. I plan to wait until Jan and if not received an email I will call Hyatt direct to see they have a reservation.

I had paid for the soda package for both my B2B cruises. First cruise, no problem. Second cruise, they started to charge me. Went to Guest Services, I was told they were busy and would look into it later. I went and got my Travel Summary which showed I had paid. They took a copy and I was not charged again. Take your phone with your Travel Summary to Guest Services to show you had paid

You have to contact the hotel direct to cancel or make any changes. Credit card is needed to hold the reservation.

Good to check various booking sites to get the best price.

Thanks, I just booked for Feb 19 with Valuetrips. I presently have a reservation through Hyatt for Feb 19 for $269.00 + occupancy tax $16.14 & sales tax $18.83 total $303.97. Their black out days are 2/16-2/18 so we should be ok for Sunday Feb 19. Anybody know what the 2 taxes would be on Jan 1- April 30, 2023, Sun-Thur @ $189.00?

Did you look at your cruiseline airfare?

Any time I have tried purchasing Manulife or CAA or any other travel insurance company for travel medical, trip cancellation, trip interruption insurance, I have had to fill out a medical questionnaire as I am over 65 yrs old. I now purchase Princess Vacation Protection insurance with no age or medical questionnaire per cruise as it covers cancel for no reason and get future cruise credit and if cancel for a medical reason get $ back.

What about 2 Elites in a cabin with different address?

If cruising with Princess, check out their Princess Vacation Protection plan. Cost is based % of the cruise, no age or questionnaire. Coverage is purchases through Princess - cruise, excursions, air and hotel if booked through them.

Your credit card will be charged $125 CDN for every $100 US, OBC you want. You will receive a card in your cabin stating that $100 (x how much you purchased) has been applied to your account. Present Princess CDN exchange rate is $1.35.

In June, I took Princess post excursion - Stonehenge then LHR as we had a 5:05pm flight. We put our luggage outside the cabin the night before. We picked up our luggage after exiting the ship and walked to the Coach. The tour guide had us sit in certain seats on the Coach for which terminal we had. We stopped at Salisbury and walked to the Cathedral (did not go in). Drove to Stonehenge and were given a certain time to return to the Coach. The Coach dropped us off at terminal 2 then other terminals. I have also taken www.internationalfriends.co.uk from Southampton dock with a stop at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor before being dropped off at the door of my London hotel. They also drop off at LHR hotels.

I would be interested to know what is in the port area of each stop - ie, stores, restaurtant, nothing.

I was on Norwegian Fjords in May 2022. I had paid separately for WiFi. We were told onboard due to the fjords WiFi would not be working well. I was refunded for the whole week.

Tips increased today. I purchase Elite WiFi separate. I just booked a 2024 cruise. Wifif price shows up on the App to purchase. Anybody know if they are increasing WiFi prices? I don't know to purchase now or later?

Love the picture of you with the lights behind you. Was this Princess photo?. Do they announce when they expect to see the lights? I did the Norwegian Fjords in late May 2022. We wore light spring jackets. Sea days, it was freezing cold worst than our Canadian winter weather. My 14 day Northern Lights cruise is Sept 24-Oct 8, 2024. These ports are farther north than the Norwegian Fjords cruise. It looks like your are are wearing heavy winter jackets. Should we bring heavy jackets? Is one side of the ship better than the other? I have looked at the Oct 2023 cruise's excursions to give me an idea of what to expect. They do not list any excursion for Alta yet..

Princess has self disembarkment where you carry all your luggage off the ship. You don’t put your luggage outside the cabin. They are the first group off the ship. If it is a Princess post cruise excursion, put luggage tags, luggage outside the cabin door, pick up luggage to Coach..

You put your luggage outside your cabin the last night with the colour disembarkment luggage tags you will receive during the week. You pick up your luggage dock side and take to the Coach. The driver will place luggage under the Coach. Once at the airport, the driver will unload all the luggage. You go into the airport.

I have taken the Norwegian Fjords (7 day cruise) before. I just booked 14 day Northern Lights cruise on the Caribbean Princess, Sept 2024 with 5 Norway ports and 7 sea days. New Norway ports for us - Trondheim Tromso Alta Lofoten Alensund Has anybody taken this cruise? Any tips on excursions or options on this cruise?
