  1. DarthGrady: I will have two Category Q [149 sq ft] interior cabins on the Oasis in February - cabins 275 & 277 next to the library on deck 11. The picture you showed of two cabins next to each other, were they Category Q's (and perhaps the same ones as the cabins I have booked on the Oasis?!)?

Edit: Never mind! I finally found the original pictures in this thread. I see from a deck plan that I have on hand that they are the 172 sq ft interior cabins.

  2. Given the many discussions I've seen about this room layout, this maybe the single most useful photo I've seen. While we usually go balconies, I may consider an interior on Allure if money is tight, this was helpful.

  3. Well done looks fantastic,i got the recipe for the Granola bars from the Prom cafe and made them this week and not bad at all for a first attempt.

    1. Could you share that recipe! I realy like those!

    2. Now I'm hungry again! Guess I'm making a trip down the street from work (Place Bell on Elgin Street, Ottawa, ON) to the bakery for oatmeal & chocolate vegan cookies! Maybe a morning cookie as well.

    3. Note to self: Must go for another 10Km run after work.

I found this picture of a cabin on Allure taken from the doorvay.

It looks small enough to be a cat Q cabin. Am I right?

This Oasis cabin in a picture from a passenger looks like it may be a Category Q as well. It doesn't look like the 172 sq ft interior layout. What do you think?:

  5. I am curious as well about Oasis & Allure of the Seas Category Q [149 sq ft] staterooms, as I have booked 11275 & 11277. A few people in my group, including me, are curious about what it looks like compared to the Category L, M & N [172 sq ft] interior staterooms. Are the beds near the closet or up against the 'back' narrow wall? Curious about bathrrom size too. Do you have any pitures? Online photos or diagrams just show the same pictures as Category L, M & N.

I am not concerned about there being no balcony or window. Just wondering about the layout and space. Yes, I'll put the coffee table in the cupboard to make more room :D!

  6. I heard no noise whatsoever from Dazzles in 10275. More than pleased with the location, although it was hard to cruise without a balcony;)

Thank you for the reply. Hope you had a great cruise!

Have to ask: Oasis of the Seas cabin 10275 is a Category Q [149 sq ft] stateroom like mine. A few people, including me, are curious about what it looks like compared to the Category L, M & N [172 sq ft] interior staterooms. Are the beds near the closet or up against the 'back' narrow wall? Curious about bathrrom size too.

  7. The airport has Public Baggage Storage at each terminal apparently. Anyone ever use it? Where is it located in each terminal (on level 2 - departures)? Is there a fee?

My sister was looking over my shoulder when I posted this question. Always the curious one, she looked up and found this:

    From the BagsToGo website:

Public Baggage Storage is available only at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), in Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4. Enjoy exploring the airport or surrounding communities without the impediment of having to take your luggage with you.

    Locations:

Terminal 1 – Lower level (arrivals) next to Continental Baggage Service Office.

Terminal 2 – Upper level (departures) next to Business Center.

Terminal 3 - Upper level (departures) next to Chili’s.

Terminal 4 - Lower level (arrivals) next to Spirit Baggage Service Office.

Cost: $6.00 per bag per calendar day (maximum 30 calendar days).

    Requirements:

Must provide valid I.D. and proof of travel to or from Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (i.e., boarding pass, itinerary, etc.).

Hours of operation vary by location and season; however, Terminal 2 is open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

    Thanks, sis!

  8. The main problem we've had before with late flights is what to do with the luggage, because sometimes the airlines restrict how far ahead of the flight they will check you in.

You might want to check into the luggage valet service RCCL has. With that you can have your bags taken care of, and be free to do something in Fort Lauderdale in the morning to have fun and kill time.

  9. 347 DAYS. Big Sigh!

Do you remember that South Park episode where Eric Cartman couldn't stand waiting for the Nintendo wii to come out so he freezes himself up in the mountain and asks Butters to come unfreeze him when the wii comes out?

Well, freeze me now! 347 days! Aagh! Just don't forget to thaw me out like Butters did. No way i am waking up in the future when we LIVE on the sea and so cruise ships are obsolete!

I am heavily sedated with cold medicine right now. Forgive my rambling.

  10. Don't you just love it when you're thinking about posting a question on CC and somebody beats you to it :)

I'll be on deck 10 in 10275, so backing into the top level of Dazzles. I do hope the noise won't be much of an issue, but it would be nice for someone with actual knowledge to be able to confirm this.

Found Dazzle noise topic covered here as well:

Seems like it may be ok.
