We were in 8282 & 8284 last month. They are on the starboard side right next to 8289 & 8291. The deck plan makes it look like there is a cut thru from port to starboard there, but no, just a wall !!!

Wondering what your casino cruise fares are? We were onboard and paid about $75 pp/pd cruise only for an inside plus port charges. From what I have seen the casino prices are virtually free? I know that the higher level cabins are quite steep now - $300 pp/pd for AQ and $500+ pp/pd for the lowest suite !!! We are Zenith and get free premium beverages, WiFi and laundry.

I put a hold on last night. Tried to finalize thru Future Cruise Sales to get the $200 deposit. They refused, saying we had to cancel the hold and re-book. I know I would not get that price if I re-book !!! Not really willing to put down a $900 deposit on a $1800 cruise 20 months out !!! Did something similar when we booked cheap cruises a year or two ago and Celebrity came back and doubled and tripled the booked prices (had booked 4 in a row) !!! Their fine print says they have the right to change the price of your booked cruise up to the day of sailing. Suspect the same will happen on these bookings !!!

Elite is 300. Elite Plus is 750. Zenith is 3000. Using the same logic Zenith Plus would be 7500.

I don't have enough vanity to believe I was responsible but possibly just one more data point of them loosing long time dedicated cruisers. 

 

Unfortunately after being pushed to jump ship, we will now continue to book with Celebrity but only if price and itinerary are in line with what we experience on other lines.    They lost over $100,000 in bookings this year alone.     I wonder how many young families on 4 day cruises it take to replace that.

Did anyone suggest to LHB that they should create a Zenith Plus level at 7500? Would be great since there are so many new Zeniths every day. Would be great if they honored every Z+ and some extra benefits like complementary Blu access for those in lower level cabins.

They had Hawaii round trip from San Diego 15 night cruises in 2013. Did 2X B2B !!! Would do again in a heartbeat if offered by Celebrity !!! Holland has SO MANY sailings round trip San Diego. Even 50+ days to French Polynesia !!

Great info. Can now get the 25% Zenith discount even on the Unlimited package. Close in cruises (a month out) are pretty much sold out (except for maybe 8:30). Still a VERY nice addition.

Staff was situated at the entrances of the OceanView daily.    It seems that with the price increase, people may be  re-thinking the costs involved.  That is my thought.    And there were very good times and days available as well. Restaurants with the biggest discounts were LeVoyage, Petit Chef and Fine Cut.  

What percentage discount are we talking. We get 25% off as Zenith. Were they offering that much or more? I find it interesting that Le Voyage is now 2X the cost of Fine Cut !!!

They put her scooter on the tender going in and out? Don't those things weigh over 100 lbs? Could not imagine that !!!

I wish Celebrity still did R/T Hawaii from CA !!! Would sign up immediately. Asked the new President about this and R/T Panama Canal in the request for questions.

Suite prices on Celebrity are absurd now. Was pricing the PH and Iconic Suite on next year's Apex 13 night TA due to two bedrooms (for 4 adults). PH is $45,000 and IC is almost $80,000 !!! Do people actually pay the price of a new high end car for one 2 week cruise ????

My family were pricing cabins on the Apex TA in March 2025 for my 70th birthday. Considered the PH and IC because they each have two bedrooms. For the 4 of us (all adults) the PH is just over $45,000 and the IC is just under $80,000. In my mind that is absurd !!! I could buy a brand new car even w/o any trade in for that kind of money !!!

Booked an inside GTY for a sailing onboard Ascent. Cabin assigned almost immediately. Unfortunately it was 3162 which is right next to the Martini bar with its 120 db sound level. Worked with my TA to get changed. Originally told there were no other cabins of the same category available. The TA ended up having her Celebrity rep move us to another inside on an upper deck. Never again will we book an inside GTY !!!

The Penthouse on Edge class ships has two bedrooms and can easily accommodate two couples !!!

Yes it is a dry Rose !!!

I suspect that the problem is that when the wine prices were increased past the premium package cap, the consumption dropped. Therefore they reduced their future orders. Since the orders are put in at least a month in advance, now they are not receiving enough new stock of the wines that are back within the package cap.

What is the cover charge for lunch at LCG? $30 pp?

I have been told the merger of the Captains Club and RCLs Crown and Anchor program will be in 2024.  It will be interesting to see how that affects our benefits?  The merged program makes sense as I have heard so many times, while waiting for onboard bookings, that they would prefer to take their grandchildren on RCL but they "don't get any points"......This should drive some new sales when it hits.  I just used my triple zenith credit for my upcoming free cruise, very looking forward.  Though not sure how much further I will progress as I have just done 4 Explora journeys cruises in January and they were Fantastic......Really a wake up call.  Sometimes its nice to switch it up.... Plus the Pinnacle benefits are much worse than Zenith.

They can only get drinks in the lounge, they don't get a free beverage package !!
