  1. I love Iris. Growing up, we had so many beautiful purple/blue iris. So many, that we would cut them and bring them to the nuns in our school. Jim and I bought our first home in 1975, and I tried growing Iris, but to no avail. I did really great with Black Eyed Susan's, though! After moving to South Jersey 7 years ago, I planted Iris, and they are doing great there, as well as multiplying!
  2. Debbie, this is exactly what I had been offered, just like Eric. I was so happy to have picked #3 also. Although I never had to wear glasses until I turned 40, my eyes got progressively worse over the years. I love not having to wear glasses anymore!
  3. Jane, it will be 5 years this August since I had my Cataract surgeries. If I wanted what my insurance covered, I'd have the corrective lenses but I'd need reading glasses. I was thinking of just doing that, but one of my daughters told me if I went with the more expensive lenses, I'd no longer need to wear any glasses. I paid $1,750.00 per eye, so $1,750.00 x 2, so $3,500.00. Immediate eyesite..no glasses! I am 20/20 in my right eye, and 20/25 in my left. So glad I had it done! Prior to the cataracts, I was wearing strong bifocals. I don't know how bad your eyesight is, but I was amazed at how I could see so clearly, and how vivid the colors became for me. Good luck with whatever way that you decide to go.
  4. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling good, Bonnie, and that you are not in pain or discomfort. 15 days more and your daughter will be for a wonderful visit! Our daughter, SIL, and two of our granddaughters are arriving in Naples this Saturday. We haven't seen them since Thanksgiving, so we're sure looking forward to seeing them. My grandson won't be with them, since he's heading for London tomorrow with some College friends for their Spring break. Lucky kid!
  5. I'll have to agree with you on that. I told Jim that I had no opinion on the outcome of the vote tonight. I think that's a first for me.🤔
  6. I've never seen two teams laugh at the team who had to vote out one of their members from last week when they showed up for tonight's challenge. Smack talk that I've never seen before on Survival.🥺
  7. Thank you, Lenny! It certainly is a very popular day for Birthdays. Jim always mentions The Alamo. When he was in the Army before being shipped to Viet Nam, he and his buddies went to the Alamo, only to find it closed.😔 We'd talked about getting there over the years, but never did anything about visiting. We're not getting any younger🤔 as evidenced with today being Jim's Birthday, and all. Just sayin...
  8. Where is Cable Beach, Debbie? I'm glad you and Eric enjoyed it so much! I also hope your warm sunny days continue for the rest of your cruise, and that you find mild, warm weather upon your return to Pa..😊
  9. Thank you, Arzeena!🥰 Thank you, Greg!😊 Thank you, Debbie!😘 I hope your ear is all better now, while you're cruising this week!
  10. Happy Birthday Caden! Besides Mark , Jim, and Caden, my nephew Keith is celebrating today, as well as my great nephew Michael! Popular day!
  11. Thank you so much, Dani!🥰 Belated Birthday wishes, Mark! Today is Jim's Birthday. Remember the Alamo!!
