  1. Thank you for sharing your experience staying in Premier Plus rooms. After reading everyone's comments, I think I'll be going elsewhere, and will be talking with my TA and see what she suggests. Thank you again!
  2. That sounds like fun! Thank you for that suggestion! We did a nighttime Ghost Tour while in New Orleans back in 2012 and really enjoyed it.😊
  3. After reading @gumshoe958and @Island2Dweller's comments about the size of the Premier Inn rooms, I'm going to begin a new search of hotels. We plan on staying in London for 5 nights, and prior to Covid waylaying our plans back in 2021, we had reservations at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel. I'll probably just look into that hotel and talk to my TA for more input. Just reading your comment about the Tower being in the City of London, which is a city within a city with lots of history has me getting really excited about out trip! A friend of mine who grew up in England suggested we buy the Oyster card prior to our visit to get around. I've read of people finding it easier to use their credit card for travel, but I'd rather not take a chance losing my CC. Thank you for your input!
  4. Thank you for your input. This is certainly something to consider! I was hoping not to bring big luggage, but just the thought that large luggage could be an issue makes me realize how small the Premier Inn's rooms must be. Thank you!
  5. @helen haywood I'm glad your PT is working out for you, and that your Doc said you don't need to wear your boot to bed, Marian!
  6. @h20skibum Wishing Susan a Happy Birthday today! Your gyro looks scrumptious, and what better way to top it off then with a nice large donut! Beautiful day for a Birthday, as well as an outing outside!
  7. Congratulations Marietta on your Valedictorian Grandson!!! He has certainly made you and Charlie extremely proud Grandparents. Your daughter is doing an amazing job raising your grandchildren. Your Grandson sure is one bright kid!! Happy 9th Birthday to your Grandson Zachary! He sure is a cutie!! My Grandfather was a Zachary, and one of my nephew's is also a Zachary.
  8. Beautiful blue water! Thank you for taking us along with you, JC!
  9. chelazion, stye, all I can say at this point is, my eye still hurts, and I haven't worn makeup since this started two and a half weeks now...🀨 At least it looks better than it has😁
  10. I thought I had posted here already, but I don't see it...Has anyone stayed at the Premier Inn London Bank (Tower) hotel. Is it easy to walk to the Tower of London from this hotel? What about hub by Premier Inn Westminster Abbey...is that really close to Westminster Abbey? I'm trying to figure out which one to stay at..of course, we plan on going to the Tower as well as Westminster Abbey and Churchill's Room, among other areas of interest. I guess what I'm asking is, is one of these hotels nicer than the other? TIA😊
  11. Has anyone stayed at this Premier Inn London Bank hotel? How are the Premier Plus Rooms? TIA for any info on this particular hotel, and/or any other Premier hotel in the area?

Tyler is a good sized baby boy!!! I am so happy for you all. I wish so much happiness for you all! Babies are the best!!!!πŸ‘£
  13. So little!!!! I didn't realize that baby deer have so many spots on their coat! So cute! Speaking of so cute, we haven't seen pictures of Charlie and his sister for a while!πŸ€”
  14. I was surprised to hear about flamingos too! I love flamingos and have two flamingo statues in the house! Thank you, Bonnie!πŸ₯° Thank you, Dani!😘 How are you doing?πŸ™ Thank you so much, Lenny!😘 Thank you, Andrew! How is Mr. Owen doing with his new wheels?
  15. Thank you so much, Arzeena!πŸ₯° Thank you!😘 It was from the bug that was in my eye. I went to the eye doctor the next morning and he prescribed antibiotic eye drops, but my eye went from irritated to huge stye both under and on top of my eyelid. I was afraid my laser surgery for the following week might have to be postponed, but the surgeon said there'd be no problem with getting the laser done. (What a piece of cake that was!πŸ˜‰ you don't feel anything!!) Thank you for asking, Arzeena! How have you been?
  16. Wow! That must've been so very painful! I'm so glad you are feeling so much better; I somehow missed that your eye lid was also affected. Itchy ow! I had been on medicated eye drops for 10 days. I found a little tube of "Stye" that I've begun putting on my eyelid for the past two or three days now; it seems to finally be getting somewhat better, I'm hoping that by this weekend it will be back to normal...the occasional itchiness is annoying. This too shall pass!πŸ˜‰
  17. Thank you, Greg! πŸ₯° Thank you, Jane. 😊 He is a hard worker! How are you doing with your hand, after your PT last year? Thank you, Graham!πŸ₯°
  18. Oh no!! Darn yard work and the after-effects! Thank goodness you had your dermatology appointment and were given the cortisone shot. I do hope it works fast for you! My eye is still giving me grief. I thought it was getting better finally, and then it blew up again. It's been two weeks and a day so far. πŸ₯Ί
