Andrew, believe me when I say that you definitely do not want to get Shingles!!! Jim and I had reservations for a hotel in Boston in the month of February, and just days before, I wound up with Shingles. It was so very painful. By the time I had gotten to the doctor, my rash was full blown and burned like the dickens. I was put on several medications, so much so that I made a chart and would check off each time I took one of them. We still decided to go to Boston, Here I was, walking around the snow-covered sidewalks, in pain with every step. Needless to say, I got the shot afterwards. At the time, there was only one shot. Once the Shingrex came out, I then made sure to get the two shots of Shingrex. Most of my friends and family made sure they got the shots after what I went through. I wouldn't wish Shingles on my worst enemy.

So good to hear from you, Helen! Glad all is well with you and Marty. Have a wonderful time on your cruise next week. Wishing you smooth sailing! When life gets less hectic (is there ever such a time?) we'd love to see your Panama Canal cruise pictures. Your pictures are always stunning. Perhaps after the holidays are behind us. In the meantime, Bon Voyage!!!!🛳️

@h20skibum Oh Mark, I found I was holding my breath when I began reading about your daughter and all of the stressful days and sleepless nights you all endured this past week. Not to mention the insurance refusal. How dare they! I'm so glad to hear the happy news that she is all good. Glad also that you will not have to cancel your plans. You and Susan really need this! Prayers for her continued good health, with great reports. I do hope that you will take care of yourself now, Mark! 🙏 🛳️🌴🙏

Bon Voyage Pat! Have a wonderful time!!! Gorgeous colors, love the rooms. The second picture (blue room/wallpaper) remind me of our home we had for 42 years. We had the three windows in the front like in the blue room, and we had beautiful large pocket doors leading to our front hallway to the right of the windows. We loved that home so very much; it just got to be too much for us to keep up. We had the original clapboard siding which we painted every several years. Your daughter is so lucky to have all of this help from her mom and dad!
