The turkeys used to fly up onto the trees in my Mom's yard in Rosebank years ago. I never knew that turkeys could fly, until they started going in Mom's trees. I just asked Jim if he saw any turkeys while at the doctor's in South Beach, but he said he didn't see any. Isn't that unusual? Or have they somehow alleviated them near the hospital there?

Thank you, Valerie! Good reports from Jim's doctor, and the rain had stopped this morning before he had to leave. All good! We are in Naples. It's a beautiful area with beautiful beaches, lots of places to eat and shop. It's grown a lot since we bought there back in 2002. Lots of traffic, but it's probably like that all over Florida these days.🌴 We try to head down right after Christmas, and stay until the end of April. We love it there! Happy hunting!

We are Snowbirds. When we are closing our Condo for 7 months to head back North, we turn off the water, put bleach in our toilets, and cover the toilet bowl with plastic wrap. No need to flush toilets, water remains in our toilets.😉

Wind is going to be up to 25 mph here tomorrow.

We've been having heavy rain and wind since this afternoon. We got our tree late morning, and got it into the house just before the sky opened up. Jim has a doctor's appointment tomorrow on Staten Island, and according to the weather app on my phone, the rain should be stopping here and on Staten Island around the time he'll be leaving here, thank goodness!

Hey Deb. I'm glad you asked. We did our first B2B on the Oasis; the first leg was with Carol and Andy and her daughter and granddaughter (who surprised the 4 of us!). The second was our Bella cruise. Jim and I did find it awkward. We didn't want Carol and Andy to feel left out; I don't know if you realized that when we were in the Schooner Bar, I'd go back and forth between you all sitting at the bar, and our friends sitting at the table. Jim and I didn't go to the Diamond Lounge with you all, since they weren't yet Diamond, etc. We are very close friends and do everything together, and I would never want to hurt them, but it did feel awkward. I hope this helps you and Andy.❤️
