  1. Sailed on the Legend twice this year, and sailed numerous times on the Pride.
  2. Thanks all!! I guess I'll pay the deposit on my hold 😄
  3. Is the Milestone perk of OBC redeemable on the milestone cruise itself? Trying to get recent experiences on this, as Carnival's website states a future OBC credit but I've seen where some have redeemed it on their milestone cruise. I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to get another cruise in prior to a 14-day I have booked lol.
  4. It's an experience everyone should do once on a cruise. I say, go for it!!
  5. My first sail after the restart I picked the earliest check-in time because I thought I'd at least be able to drop my luggage (all carry on) as Platinum. Except the staff wouldn't let me. So I've been picking a time after the rooms are ready. Which means long lines checking in. It would be nice to be able to skip ahead to the front of the line as priority again.
  6. I use this one for travel, including cruises https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-HTF090B-Turbo-Personal-Filter/dp/B00YU0W3CY/ref=sr_1_5?crid=AM8RVM5242D3&keywords=honeywell%2Btravel%2Bfan&qid=1656240372&sprefix=honeywell%2Btravel%2Bfan%2Caps%2C56&sr=8-5&th=1
  7. This is why I travel with earplugs. Also helps when there are random squeeks in the room or whistling through the balcony door due to wind.
  8. This is what it reminded me of!! Once I got over the "shock" of not seeing the whale tale, and looked at the ship as a whole, I actually kind of like it.
  9. From Carnival.com: Where can I address questions regarding the operation of an excursion? If you have an operational question about an excursion or you need additional information, please send an e-mail to shoreexcursions@carnival.com. Every effort will be made to provide you with feedback within 48-72 hours, with those queries requiring additional specific research possibly taking longer. Please be sure to include your ship and sail date in the subject line. And be sure to include any other specific information such as port name and exact excursion name in all correspondence.
  10. Also to add to the experience - as anyone with allergies knows, when you order your meals at dinner for the next day, they leave the menu book with you for a few minutes so you can pick out what you want at your leisure, and they stop back by to pick up the book and your order. My waiters refused to leave the tablet with me so I could browse what I could (or in many instances, could not) eat. Waiter held the tablet and scrolled while I awkwardly tried to read it as he scrolled and I had to make a decision right then and there.
  11. I had experience with this on the Pride back in October after the restart. I was not impressed. I'm celiac and cannot have gluten. I have cruised numerous times on Carnival and pretty much know what I can have and what they can make gluten free (french toast for brunch, pasta for dinner, for example, can be made gluten free). When trying to order my meals at dinner for the next day, things that are gluten free were not showing up. I wanted Indian veg one night which didn't show up. My waiter refused to place the order for me because it didn't show up as gluten free in the program. French toast didn't show up - "you can only have the parfait." One night for dinner, it only showed a salad... I made sure to give feedback about it after my cruise but was delighted that the Legend didn't seem to use the system when I sailed in February. Not looking forward to it going fleetwide, unless they've made significant improvements.
  12. Just received a notification that my Chef's Table reservation for a June cruise on the Legend has been cancelled due to staffing issues. The letter indicated through the end of June, and seemed to be fleet wide. Also, Cucina would be closed for dinner (except on Mardi Gras), with some selections available in the main dining room at no charge.
