  1. Use SAS Shuttle. We walked off Sat at 745 and were at FLL by 830 for a 10:45 flight. It only about a 30 min ride on a weekend. $15 pp. Very nice van.
  2. I am a risk taker on return flights but in my opinion unless the ship is delayed you can easily make a 10:00am flight and maybe even a bit earlier if you walk off self assist early as possible and the ship is not late. In Nov we walked off the Symphony by 7:20. More recent we arrived in Miami on the Explorer Sunday. There was a customs delay but we were and outside by 7:45. We were going to FLL which is twice the trip of Mia. Our shuttle picked us up and we were at FLL by 8:35 for our 10:45 flight. My brother made a 9:50 flight from The Ft Lauderdale port. .
  3. I thought the Explorer shower tubes were fine and in fact the interiors of the cabins were great. The new beds were very comfortable. Actually better than the Symphony we were on in Nov. My biggest issue was the WiFi was awful, and the ship badly needs to add a park cafe or another free quick dinning option. a few areas could use paint but the Windjammer furniture was perfect. They should buy it for the Indy.
  4. There is probably good shuttle options. We used SAS to go from Port of Miami to FLL today $15 pp but I don’t think they have rights to pick up at the Miami airport.
  5. FYI on the Marriott. We choose that option on a Tuesday 4-26-22 and the place was beautiful. Great beach chairs and umbrellas and beautiful pool but if you want to swim in the ocean it was not possible last week. The seaweed was nicer a foot deep and they were trying to clear it with a track hoe. We spent the morning on the beach and they barely made a dent. Spent the afternoon at the pool. in looking at the beach without the moss I am not sure I would call it easy in. It has been a few years but I would say Cockeshell was easier to get I. The water.
  6. On a cruise last week. We asked the cab to go Valley Chuch but it seemed that the cab dispatcher loaded everybody going to the beach in the same cab and took us to Darkwood. The water looked great and had no seaweed u like St Kitts and St Thomas so we stayed. $20 for 2 chairs and and umbrella. Beers were $4 and $5. Food was ok. I would go again.
  7. Some ships were upgraded before Covid. The Adventure, Indy, Oasis, all have I am sure. I believe the Serenade of the Seas was in dry dock for 2 or 3 weeks in April but nobody seems to know what work was done. We just got off the Explorer and it has had sone things upgraded and was in decent shape but needs to major upgrade. It did appear to have new carpet, new modern elevator touch controls and the cabins were in great shape but the WiFi was awful and it needs more dining options in my opinion.
