I saw that Liberty OTS is doing a dry dock for a few days before making the move up to Cape Liberty. Has anyone heard what kind of maintenance will be done? I'm guessing it's just something mechanical since it's a short time in dry dock...

My wife has really started to take a liking to Port. Can I bring a bottle of Port on board as one of my bottles of wine? Or do they not consider it wine because it's fortified?

Now that cruising is seemingly back to 100% and the cruise lines are making money again, has anyone heard any rumblings about resuming the Royal Amplifications? Liberty of the Seas was supposed to be amplified during in 2020/2021, but obviously that got canceled. Think it might happen in the next year?

We are considering the Chef's Table for our anniversary cruise next year. However, my wife WILL NOT drink any white wine, AT ALL. She just loathes the stuff. Will they offer her reds if she lets them know? Along the same line, will they accomodate allergies? Or is the menu the menu and that's that?

Do you think a Diamond discount would be a better deal?

For what it's worth though, I could always just book the cruise I want at the current fare, and just keep checking... and if I drops, just call and get the price changed, right?

I am currently Emerald, though should be Diamond once I get credit for the cruise I just disembarked. I am looking at my next cruise and noticing that I don't seem to get any discount for being Emerald/Diamond when booking a balcony room. It's the same price whether I enter my C&A number or not. The terms for the current "sale" say C&A is combinable, so I'm not sure what's going on... Can anyone shed some insight into the inner workings of cruise pricing? LOL

As I look to book my next cruise, I’m confused by the Best Price Guarantee. In previous times, if I booked and noticed the price dropped, I just called and customer service adjusted the price. Is that not a thing anymore? After 48 hours, are you locked in now?

I just got off Oasis and loved the ship. There were some issues that kept it from being a perfect 10, but it was great being back on a ship. We are now looking at a cruise on Liberty for next year. I sailed on her years ago and loved the ship, but I’ve seen many reviews that she is showing her age and is in desperate need of the dry dock that was canceled because of COVID. For people who have been on Liberty recently, what are your thoughts? Will I be disappointed by an experience that isn’t up to the standards I’m used to from Royal?

We also have a reservation for Solarium Bistro. We were planning to do the MDR the other nights, but am I missing out by not doing Izumi or Chops or something else for dinner?

Yeah.... I'm close to it! But I'll admit that I got participation trophies as kid. But the generation that complains about that is ALSO the generation that GAVE US the participation trophies!

I was planning to get my 4 year old tested at Walgreens with their rapid NAAT test. However, on Walgreens website, it does not look like they are scheduling testing after this Wednesday. I’m hoping it’s a bug or maybe a lack of availability because of the holiday, but it’s really gonna stink if they stop doing Covid tests at the end of June!

I’m considering booking some specialty dining for my upcoming Oasis cruise. I saw a recent entertainment schedule for my itinerary. Is it likely to be the same? I want to be able to line up my reservations with the shows we want to see. On a somewhat related note… we know we at least want to eat at 150 Central Park. If I were to do the Chops+1 package, I can’t book 150 until I get on board, right? In that case, would it make sense for me to prebook a 150 dinner too and then cancel and rebook once on board? Or do you think I’ll be ok waiting?
