  1. For the summer holidays? 😱
  2. Just out of interest, does anyone know the Christmas decorations go up and come down? I'm on Azura on 5th Jan, just wondering!
  3. We're getting away in January so it's not the end of the world. Just miss my wee fix of Barcelona....and have never been to Croatia/Greece so was hoping to do either East or West Med but beggars can't be choosers!
  4. Completely agree ...I was thinking "man these cruises are expensive, best check out hotels".... Checked hotels and realised that I'm actually far better to stick with cruising 😂.
  5. Might need to let the moths out the wallet soon!
  6. Hello all! This might not be P&O specific so feel free to delete. Just wondering everyone's thoughts on summer 2024 prices. I'm stuck with school holidays but I normally budget £50-80pppn (or around £120pppn inc. flights), at the moment it's hard to find any 7 night med cruises for under £100pppn. Anyone got any thoughts on pricing and whether you think it'll come down or go up? I'm hoping maybe 3-4 months beforehand we might see some price drops!
  7. https://youtu.be/t831jUj4vYw Found this ....think our room will be the same...
  8. You're right, having to make their money back! Oh well, we will see what the future has in store. A balance between value and quality is needed 👌 been quite a while since I done a beach holiday so here's hoping cruising keeps offering good value... although I'm not sure what I'd do with all the space in a hotel room now that I'm used to an interior cruise cabin!
  9. You can't win 😂 I got Symphony last Easter for £460pp for 7 nights (nothing included) although got non-alc for £14/nt which I was happy with. Bearing in mind that was still COVID times (testing before going on, limited timings for some bars, no Hairspray but all other shows were on). Don't think COVID pricing will return to RCL any time soon!
  10. I do love a deal... 7 nights drinks on RCL would set you back £480pp now!
  11. I got my 7 night Jan 24 cruise, with flights for £967 for 3 of us when I minus the OBC.... I don't think I could get 3 flights with 3 suitcases for that so think that's value. Interestingly, since 2010, my idea of budget has seriously decreased for no real reason. I only noticed this when I thought I got a bargain on NCL Epic in 2017 when I got 7 nights for £1800 for 2, not including flights etc and now I'm looking for <£1,000 for 3 including flights 😂 think I need to have a word with myself.
  12. Perfect thank you.... Is that on the day you want the booking for? (I.e. pop down in the afternoon to request it?)
  13. We've got OBC to use and was hoping to use it for dinner in glasshouse but sounds like it's hard to get a table? Can you pre-book using OBC? Even on day 1 of the cruise?
  14. Yeah - I guess it (kind of) makes sense. Just hoping the bunk beds don't get in the way too much. First world problems...
  15. I thought that they would have left the bunkbeds for passengers who might need them - it's strange that they've given us them. We'll see what they respond. It seems there will be very very little room at the side of the bed if we do queen beds....and we are used to interior cabins so quite happy with small spaces but this seems VERY tight.
  16. It definitely shows on the deckplan as "Cabin has two additional beds in the form of pull-down beds" if that helps. Sorry folks, realise both of you have given alot of help here.
  17. Thank you - I believe my TA has emailed them to confirm.
  18. Looks like an extremely tight squeeze with the queen bed with pullman beds?
  19. Thanks for all the help - hopefully it can be sorted. The systems just seem so antiquated...even when they say they'll email the ship to find out if it can be done, it just surprises me. Almost like P&O are just a travel agent for 7 different companies (cruise ships) with no way of really helping until you're there (and it's too late).
  20. Ah thank you! Our last room also said the beds weren't fixed but still couldn't be moved to allow for a cot. Here's hoping this is different. Thanks again!
  21. The previous room we were given didn't say anything within the deckplan but when P&O CS emailed the ship, the cabin supervisor said it could not be changed even on board due to fire regulations. This time round our room is E421 on Azura which says "cabin has two additional beds in the form of pull down beds." Beggars can't be choosers but I'm wondering if moving us directly above the theatre, next to lifts, is really a considered upgrade with a baby. I must come across as a moan but I genuinely don't feel like P&O have shown any sort of care over our booking. I wasn't expecting anything incredible, or upgrades or anything like that. I just wanted simple things sorted.
  22. I don't think I'm asking the earth.... They're trying to change their image to a family friendly cruise company but it's one thing sticking that in an advert... It really doesn't take that much extra to make it happen on the ground (or ship should I say) as well. They were good enough to say they'd change us rooms to allow for queen bed configuration but surely (surely!) you'd double check that the room you change someone to actually allows for Queen configuration.🙈
  23. How can a company mess so many simple things up? For most of you you'll have seen my posts before and the last one was... everything is sorted hooray. Well... For context, it's our first holiday with our 6 month old baby. We booked an inside cabin. Outside cabins were the same price but we were told you can't have 3 people in an outside cabins so hey ho. 1) wanted a Queen bed set up. P&O gave us twin set up. 2) we needed a cot for our baby. P&O said we might be able to get a cot, we'd need to wait til we're onboard to find out... originally telling us he'd sleep in a bunk bed. 3) we wanted a drinks package. We were told our baby would need to buy one too. these things (in my opinion) are not hard to fix...but this has now been nearly 3 months trying to fix it. Last week was a hoorah moment. A CS agent helped and said it was all sorted. We were moved to an outside cabin and given OBC to say sorry. Today on the website I was assigned my room. With twin beds. I contacted them. They said there's nothing they can do. SERIOUSLY? This is not hard....surely???
