I am Diamond but my friend who is travelling with me has never sailed RCCL before.. we are sharing a cabin. I presume she won’t get the free drinks vouchers? So would I have to go to Lounge on my own to use my vouchers? This will be my first cruise as Diamond so not sure what the protocol is.

We are cruising Beyond on 8th September , our first Celebrity cruise… loyal RCCL but want to try something different. My husband liked wear his Tuxedo on formal nights! I have a couple of questions.Are there formal nights on Celebrity and if so when are they? Do many people bother with formal dress? It is the minority on RCCL just wondering if it’s the same on Celebrity? Thanks

We are booked for September 8th on our first Celebrity cruise….done lots of RCCL. I have just been looking at My time dining reservations….4 restaurants…. Any useful information at to which are the best? Hoping the food is better than the recent P&O cruise we have been on! I’ve booked Eden one night so far. Any tips gratefully received. Also we are Diamond RCCL so Elite on Celebrity… which is fab…if I want to upgrade to Premium drinks do I need to do it before cruise to obtain discount for Elite status? Merry Christmas 🎄

I think it’s each to their own and I’m sure some P&O cruisers would hate RCL but we have loved them all… some more than others I like new shiny things and this ship isn’t that but I’ve still enjoyed our trip overall… but unless bargain price wouldn’t spend my money on it again… Currently sat in blue bar which is lovely … great service Maybe Celebrity will disappoint me and that’s cost a lot of ££££ Its the lack of cleaning - dirty windows , no hand sanitation, sewage smells that I have never experienced on any other cruise which I really don’t like… DId NCL Epic once and didn’t like that… this ship is same For me RCL is 5 star in all areas… maybe US guests have higher expectations? This ship is 3 stars in some areas … 4 at best in others But as I said what we paid for holiday reflects that

Myself and my husband are loyal to Royal… done Freedom and all Oasis class ships We are currently on Azura as booked it for price and dates and a week of hopefully sun before Christmas… with flights included got quite a good deal We knew it was old and ready for a refurb and the price reflected that.. we got £420 OBC! Buffet is poor…. Beige cold food MDR is good… tasty meals but tiny portions Drinks package no where near as good as RCL…. They have run out of a lot of drinks 3/4 days in and have old tatty plastic glasses that have seen better days…. Like most things on this ship! Superior deluxe cabin is a good size and kept clean by lovely steward Ship doesn’t have wow factor… we found it hard to navigate initially…. Fabric of ship is very tired … guests majority over 65 Alarmingly no one enforces hand sanitiser lol at restaurants and lots of people don’t bother… On all RCL ships we have been on there is always some cleaning of stair rails going on… haven’t seen that at all there is a terrible smell on occasion from drains in various locations on ship i went to Ladies near to Manhattan bar a couple of nights ago and water and presumably overflow seeped up through drain all over my long dress… I cruised Allure of Seas in October and was worried as it’s an older a ship… but compared to this boat it was in a fabulous condition We have met some nice people and weather today is hot but in our opinion it doesn’t even come close to any RCL ships Some of the entertainers are dire For us the ship is lacking any atmosphere… maybe that’s the age demographic… we aren’t young 52/58 I wouldn’t sail this ship again… maybe we would consider a newer P&O ship as they are much cheaper than the big RCL ships but like everything in life you get what you pay for Doing Celebrity Beyond next year so will see how that is If it’s a cheap week you are after I’m sure it will be ok

I have just been away with my friend and had a balcony cabin , friend was in her own cabin so the double points moved me up nicely into Diamond status.

I am booked on Beyond next September for my first Celebrity cruise with my husband. I am RCCL Diamond and he is Emerald status although I think they will link our C&A numbers to give him Diamond as well? I know Diamond equates to Elite on Celebrity but the website states not applicable to Preview Captains Club status…does this mean that as it’s our first cruise we aren’t eligible for any benefits? I’m a bit confused by it all although Its no big deal really….still looking forward to sailing Celebrity!

Is there a decent selection of drinks , specifically wine, if we choose to pay per drink? I like a decent glass of wine and at least RCCL have a really good selection most of which are included in package.

I am cruising with P&O for first time in December. Does anyone have a recent drinks list for what included in drinks package? Especially dry rose wine for me and red for other half? Thanks!

Have a fabulous time! I went with a friend and got off last Saturday..we had the best time. Easy to get chatting to people on a cruise…I’m sure you will enjoy the experience and my condolences to you

Managed to cancel it on phone… I think it wouldn’t let me cancel online as my friend is lead guest but my amended invoice doesn’t show drinks package… I was nearly 2 hours on boot so will have to ring back!!! 😩

I have just tried to cancel my package do I can rebook and it’s says non refundable!! I always thought packages were able to be cancelled … and it was certainly shown as cancellable a few weeks ago… I sail on Allure on 15th October and booked a drinks and internet package in March… so angry if I can’t get the new deal..

I have cruised 9 times… 8 on RCL and once on NCL( disliked this) We love RCL but found a cheap deal for Azura in December…. We were going to do a week in hotel in Canaries but found this Any views from cruisers who have done both? I am worried I might be disappointed by this ship as it’s dated… and might find it small Bit dates and cost make it attractive

I have just tried to book prebook tickets for early around 9am on Saturday… all showing as unavailable…. Do they hold tickets back for same day bookings? I don’t want to do the 9 hour trip with RCL… was thinking 3 /4 hours enough … but don’t want to get stranded?? Might have to rethink and do Pompeii instead!

I am Emerald as is my husband but I am cruising October with a girlfriend that puts me one night away from Diamond… we will no doubt cruise in December… if I can persuade him.. that will make me Diamond… is there really THAT many benefits?? We always buy drinks package… and what happens to him… does he stay Emerald?🤷‍♀️
