We have basic WIFI included in our AI package. We will try it out but are anticipating one, or both of us, might have to upgrade to streaming at some point during the cruise. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm sure the cost would be prorated, just wondering how much $$? Thanks.

Is there a free mens sauna on Summit. I've read that new cabins have taken it's place and I've read that it's still there (in gym locker room?) but very small and only fits 4 people. Which is true?

Thanks so much for this current info. We sail Summit in July. It's our first time on Celebrity so we probably won't notice any cutbacks since it will all be new to us. We are Elite so I will make sure we check out the Captains Club events. Sad this info wasn't given to you moment one. What time did Tuscan Grill open for breakfast?

I totally agree.

When we first booked, the "all included" fare was $760 more for two (not pp). Being Elite and being able to bring wine on board, we felt we did not need the drink package, the tips were not a problem, but because of our work and family situation, we definitely need 24/7 wifi, and in fact, might need to upgrade that to streaming. So when I saw the wifi package for the week was $700 (horrifying) just for basic I immediately thought maybe the $760 for all inclusive was well worth it. It just happened to be the Memorial Day weekend sale so our TA was able to upgrade us to all inclusive for $500 total (not pp) plus a $250 cabin credit. I figure with the credit one of us could upgrade to streaming when we need it. I feel we got a great deal.

Is there a free sauna for men on the Summit? I’ve read the space was used for more cabins during the upgrade?

I see. Yes, we haven’t been on a ship this small in years and I’m looking forward to it.

I read that complaint about that particular cabin so we will soon find out...

We were told we had a choice of basic fare or "all included" fare when we booked. We chose basic, but then changed it to all-included during the Memorial Day sale. It does make the HH mute. But worth it to us to have wifi, tips and drinks included for only $250 more total. The tips alone were close to that.

Thanks for this, nice to know DH can have a cigar onboard. I took your advice and booked the Tuscan Grille. What do you mean that specialty dining is limited?

We don't feel we need a drink package but we do need wifi. After checking out the crazy package prices for wifi streaming ($700 for two for a 7 night cruise!) we called the TA and switched to "All In" for the same price. Glad we were able to do that. A few more Summit questions: Where can my husband smoke a cigar on board? Is there a sauna or steam room he can use without paying for the Persian Garden? Which Summit specialty restaurant is your favorite? Thanks to everyone for all the great info. Really excited about Cafe El Bacio now too.

We used a TA and I signed up with Celebrity after we booked. Our Elite status came right up so I was happy about that because I wanted to be certain that was so.

I waited for responses overnight and when I got back to Celebrity, most of the cabins were gone already! Ended up choosing 7176. Directly across from the elevators, but worth it for the extra roomy balcony, especially for a week.

You guessed right DCPIV. I didn't get much feed back on cabin selection and by the time I went back to Celebrity only 7176 was available. Directly across from the elevator but larger balcony is worth it to us. We are normally aft dwellers so forward just doesn't feel right to us. I'm content with my decision. And thanks for your reply 🙂

Sailing in July from NJ to Bermuda on Celebrity Summit. Our first time on Celebrity. Which veranda would you choose? Our TA suggested 7168 But I see that 6018 and 6021 are available (sweet sixteen's but maybe noise?) 7173 and 7175 are available (larger balcony but close to elevator?)
