No. Some people hear 2-3 days prior. The worst that could happen, if your bid is accepted, is that you have to print new luggage tags or get them at the pier.
Thank you, we'll wait and see 😊

Cruising next week, if we can print out baggage tags, can we assume our bid wasn't successful?

The port of Miami has large electronic signs that tell what ship is at what terminal... shouldn't be a problem.
Someone should have told our Uber driver, and us!

Why do you have to know now..................day of cruise just tell uber or taxi driver what ship you are getting on or off...............The driver will know where to go.
We tried this last year boarding the Navigator out of Miami. The driver had no idea which terminal , the rain was pouring down, the port was chock a block full of cars/taxis /shuttles in all directions, it wasn't a great start! Next time I'm finding out before we leave the hotel 😊

We have Rooibos tea on Allure at every dining room we have visited and at Cafe Promenade. London tea company, no extra charge (unlike the rooibos tea we had on Celebrity which was only available in the premium beverage package on Reflection in April).
Thank you so much, that's good to know. Isn't it interesting how each cruise line, even those belonging to the same parent company, find different ways to part us from our money! 😉

That sounds exactly what i would like to do ,did you end up back in Southampton?
No, Barcelona, so just a short flight home. Mind you, Southampton would have been perfect, if only because of all the shopping I'd done in Florida!! Seriously if you can plan your trip to coincide with a TA home, so springtime, it really does make for a great holiday. As others have said, even if the cruise departs from Miami or Fort Lauderdale, it's still very doable.
Enjoy the planning!

We are from the UK. 3 years ago we joined our kids and grandkids in Disneyworld for a week then picked up a TA back to Europe from Port Canaveral. Perfect holiday, crazy fun 7 days in the parks with the family, relaxing 14 nights on board to recover 😊

YMMV, but I pre-booked 7:15 each night for Adventure in Sept. and pre-booked 7:00 each night for Grandeur in Nov.
Same here, 7.15 pm, 14 nights, Explorer in November. Maybe it differs ship to ship?

Hello, I’ve found your post after searching tea! This is our first ever cruise and as I’m not a drinker, I assumed there would be some sort of package for tea and/or water drinkers only? I’m also a decaf tea drinker so should I just take my own tea bags? I can only find the package that talks about juice etc at breakfast. Is that not included in the breakfast anyway? I wonder if I’m looking in the right place or their website. Any ideas?
Tea and coffee are available free of charge 24/7 in the Windjammer buffet. All types of tea as people have posted here, but if you have a favourite, pop some in your suitcase. Juice is available at breakfast, free of charge, they charge for "freshly squeezed", we're OK with the free stuff. There's also packets of hot chocolate mix available where the tea bags are. Water is free 24/7 unless you prefer the bottled stuff, DH won't drink that on principle, tap water all the way, I'm fine with tap too. Hope this helps. Sure others will add more info for you.
Happy cruising 😊

It’s in your original offer message, not on the web site.
Just checked, all it says is "modify /cancel". Oh well, we'll wait and see.

Many thanks, I'll have a look 😊

Can anyone post a link to the area where people are saying they can see their bid has expired or still pending. I can't find this on the UK site. Many thanks.

Haven't seen those. They also normally have Tazo available for extra cost.
Thanks, I always mean to put some red bush in my bag and invariably forget, think I'll go and do it now, nothing like making an early start on the packing! 😉

Any Red Bush/Rooibos tea anywhere? We're on the Explorer TA next month. Many thanks.

So does the virtual balcony reflect your actual cruise. Day night passing scenery?
Absolutely 😊

We had a virtual balcony on the Navigator and there was definitely sound. On embarcation day, our cabin "faced" port side. We watched the loading of produce etc and heard the beeping as the trucks backed up! We loved our virtual balcony, it was such fun.

Unfortunately with the new style boarding passes, the currency choice no longer shows so you cannot do the pink highlighter!!!
I suppose it's no loss really, they never took any notice anyway 😅

Every cruise we tick the "B box" and every time its ignored, we tick, we use pink highlighter, we underline, nothing works. For us, a trip to GS a few days into the cruise and a double check later on is the only answer. We also pay some in cash if we have any excess towards the end of the sailing.

We've sailed one P&O cruise out of 40+. Not for us. You will find far more entertainment for the kids (and yourselves) on Royal but a 3 night cruise is not the best introduction as another poster mentioned. Nevertheless I'm sure you'll have a great, fun filled, time aboard an amazing ship.
-
Alternatively, switch to MTD and go for dinner at 8.30 each night. Or you can make MTD reservations on your cruise planner before you board.

Had one last year on the Navigator, loved it!

That's a shame. I know we can't control the weather but it's still disappointing. Hope you're having a great time in spite of the changes. We were going to book this cruise as a b2b with the TA on 5th, but I'm celebrating a big (very big 😉) birthday on the TA so having a party this weekend with the family before we sail 🎂
Enjoy the rest of your trip 😊
