Find Speedy Eddie on the pool deck and dinning room. He is the best drink server on board

Just on Liberty last weekend and they have a white party and after party on the night we left Cozumel (Saturday)

I am from S FLA and usually get cold when the temp drops below 70  and I have never needed a sweater of any kind on a ship. We cruise alot in December and January which is cooler than April. By April the temps are in the 80's during the day and the 70's at night outside.

I haven't received on either.

We had both of the rooms over the summer with my DSD and DGD and they are not connecting we just opened the balcony doors. Yes you can see the aqua theater shows from there and see the wake also

Thank you all for this thread. Yep I took advantage and booked DH and I on the 12/12 sailing and we are both sailing with taxes and gratuities for less than $590 for the two of us. Can't beat it. We usually travel in a JS but with non left took a E2 center hump balcony:eek:

Me too...or me three :o
I don't expect we will know more on the transatlantic until much later next year ...though booking for Anthem is due to open January/February next year.
Think I will skip the Inaugural (heck did I say that out loud:eek:) and look to book the transatlantic instead.
I may decide to do both. I skipped the Quantum inaugural :o because I didn't want to to go NJ in November to travel back to FLA and the Bahamas. I know, I know its about the ship but I just couldn't bring my self to do it.
-
Guess I'm a little early given it's only 2013 still, but when do you think the transatlantic for 2015 might be released for sale?
I had the same thought ;)

Or maybe they can kick the suite guest out and give them drink coupons and make the CL for D+ and P and then DL for D.

I first wanted to try a Boardwalk balcony but am a light sleeper and have heard that they can be noisy.
I am a very light sleeper where I can not even sleep with the windows open because I hear every noise. I have not had any problems with with Boardwalk or Central Park.

They do have a dedicated diamond lounge. It was added during the upgrade. The rules for the diamond lounge are that only diamond and above are granted access. So the corporate answer is "NO" but you won't know for sure until you get on the ship.

It won't be a easy walk from pier 25. The port is quite congested and there are not sidewalks. Also you do have to go through security to get into the port which maybe a hassle. A cheap car or taxi would be easiest.

DH and I will be on Liberty in 8 days. Liberty is our favorite ship and we usually sail on her 3 or 4 times when she is here. We are looking at a Med cruise on her for next year. We have seen alot of the same crew members year after year. We have also done the b2b and it was a breeze

For the same price I would take Liberty for 9 days. Great ship and great crew.

I love Central Park rooms. We always book a JS but on Oasis/Allure I will book a Boardwalk or Central Park balcony. We will be on Oasis in January and have a Central Park booked. I really enjoy sitting out there at night.

I am interested in hearing what your thoughts were of the ship and the cruise. We were on the same sailing and well were less than impressed.
Nick,
Dh and I were on the same cruise and I have to say out of 30 cruises this one was our least enjoyable. :( I would like to know your thoughts.

I agree about the 2 rooms. We were on Oasis in July and had 9715 and 9717 with a 17 and 10 year old and it was alot cheaper especially since we had to book a adult in each cabin we got the diamond discount on both.

Thank you for the review. We were on the Infinity in May for Alaska (our first time on Celebrity) and will be on her again in September for a Transcanal cruise leaving from Seattle to Ft Lauderdale. Since you like to have a few drinks did you purchase a drink package? We did in May and really liked not having to worry about a bar tab.

Rudeness comes in all ages:
We were on one cruise were we went and put jeans on after dinner on a formal night. A lady who was quite a bit older than I (I am 43) came up to me and asked if I knew it was formal night. I replied that I did and that I already had dinner and decided to change. She proceeded to tell me that I was be rude by not staying in my formal clothes. In response I asked her if she had paid for my cruise, which of course she said no, so I told her she had no right to tell me how to dress.
Some parents tend to let their kids rule them and do what ever and speak however they want and teenagers tend to show off.
So sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.

We were on Liberty 12/12-12/16 and we were docked by 6:30 am and they started letting people off by 7:00. They say the official time for walk off is 7:30 but I was watching from the balcony and it was 7. Now we also did a 4 day in November and we were docked by 6:30 but the walk off didn't start until 8 because they had to take someone off to a waiting ambulance.
