  1. I don't believe in the "age appropriate"... it's what you are comfortable in and what looks good on your body... I'm past that age group and if it's cool in europe I wear jeans and tennis shoes .. I take a leather jacket for at nite in case it's really cool....I take a couple of sweaters or layer myself so as it gets warmer during the day I can shed a layer... if it's warm, capris are good.. most fashions in Europe are black and more black..my favorite shops are Macy's and Nordstroms Rack...you can find any "age appropriate" clothes at those stores.. I go by 'body appropriate"........

  2. I have several crossbody bags.. no particular brand,, but I like the ones that have a place for your credit cards and money so I don't have to carry the wallet which makes any bag heavier.. just the camera, iphone, glasses, cc and$$... not too big, not too small, the latest one I got is from travelon bags.. has the slots inside for credit cards, etc... a water bottle would also fit..

  3. Going on a cruise with our parents and my husband has to have a snorkeling trip in there somewhere. What location would be our best bet for some good snorkeling? Would like the excursion to have some snorkeling time as well as some other activities to keep the parents happy but I will follow all suggestions...

none of these would have shore snorkeling... freeport or Nassau an excursion would be good.. I've had good snorkeling in both places with an excursion .. in Nassau I went with a ship's excursion to Rainbow reef.. nothing for the parents to do on a snorkeling excursion except enjoy the boat ride..

  4. Private tours often include rug demonstrations too unless you clearly specify you don't want this.

I knew our tour would have lunch at the rug hooking school. The outdoor lunch was good; seeing how the silk is spun and the rugs are made is very interesting. We got to sit in the display room as they showed us the various types of rugs. None of us was bought one and there was absolutely no hard sell.

we have a tour with ephesus deluxe set up and made it very clear there is to be no stop at any carpet factories or outlets
