  1. No I asked today and we have to call room service ourselves. No adult beverages are included in PDP that can be delivered to our cabin. We have to go to the lounge and bring them back to our SS.
  2. No Evian or Vitamin water available in Retreat lounge. We do get BW delivered to our cabin included. Only water in Retreat Lounge and delivered to our Sky Suite is this:
  3. I was about to post that, yes all wine and liquors have to include gratuities in the price for cruises sailing from Australia. But with that the Elevated wines are still above PDP price.
  4. That is the Premium DP list in Luminae currently on the Edge. The prosecco is the only sparkling wine. IMO this list is ridiculous.
  5. yes that is the Premium wine list. Here is the list of Elevated wines:
  6. Here is the list of "Premium " wines available in Luminae currently on the Edge.
  7. Forgot to add, we are in a SS and the bottle of sparkling wine that greeted us in our cabin was some swill with a screw top. I asked our room attendant if we could exchange it for a better one and was told it was the only wine they could give us. We paid over $12,000 and they give us a $6 bottle of sparkling wine. Celebrity has sunk to a new low!!!
  8. We are on the Edge and last night in Luminae all we could get for PDK were very low end wines. The only Pino available was Castle Rock which we can buy for $10 a bottle. In the retreat lounge they have a list of wines, mostly low-end ones, that they can offer. Nothing not on the list can be served to us. Also in lounge no premium bottled water or Vitamin waters are available. This will be it for us with Celebrity.
  9. It's one thing when you book a cruise and know upfront that your cabin category will not have a butler. But when you book a cabin category that at the time was advertised as having a butler and that butler is then taken away with ZERO compensation much later, is BIG deal and why so many here are upset. Its not about whether you need a butler, its about you paid for one that is no longer available. My last car we bought came with a package that included front seat warmers, something we do not really need in South Texas, but if it had been delivered without those seats I paid for, I would by just as upset.
  10. Our Jan 25th cruise on the Edge had 35 unbooked suites 3 weeks ago, after the many move up offers were accepted the suites are now all sold out. Some in our roll calls got move up bids from standard IV verandah cabins to Sky Suites for less than $1200pp, that is one hell of a deal compared to what we paid for our SS,.

  12. We booked the RC cruise because we wanted to try something different too and then decided it wasn't going to be better. At the time not having a butler on RC was a big deal that now is no longer with a SS.,
  13. After our two Retreat cruises this month on the Edge, which when we booked, were 40% less than now, we are stepping away from Celebrity and taking our business and $$ elsewhere. When I can book a real premium cruise line like Oceania for the same or less per day than a Sky Suite, I am jumping ship. 🚢
  14. No way anyone would pay the sky high Sky Suite fares today without the lounge access. We booked an RCL cruise last year and when we found out their "Junior" suites had no lounge and very limited suite dining at Sky Suites prices, we canceled and booked on the Equinox for the same itinerary.
  15. No, only the IV ocean View cabins have opening windows, just like most sunrooms.
  16. We board the Edge on the 13th for 22 days from Sydney. After following a couple of CC threads from members on her way from Singapore to Sydney it doesn't sound like much was done on the interior during the dry docking in October. That was mostly a maintenance drydocking that included a full hull cleaning and repainting which had to be done before she could enter Australian and New Zealand waters and ports. The full service bar I was told by the Retreat people on the Apex was NOT installed in the Retreat lounge.
  17. Good thing you aren't running Celebriity what you are suggesting would run off even more loyal customers.
  18. In our 5 previous Retreat cruises we have never been charged for any drinks that may have exceeded the PDP cap or been told by the bartender that any requested drink was not available because it exceeded the cap. A couple of recent examples: Mccallan 12-year-old scotch, available on 2022 Reflection cruise in Retreat Lounge but $18 in other bars, this was when the cap was $15 too. Hennessy VSOP Cognac available in Retreat Loung on Apex in September but was priced over the $17 cap in other bars.
  19. I used the CO line to also book specialty restaurant reservations and make changes on them, this is one great CO benefit many overlook. On the Koningsdam I never had more than one person in line in front of me while the regular line would have 15 or more in line.
  20. Yes you can book tours on the Nav app onboard. We now will only book with Club Orange which has a Dedicated CO special line at Guest services where you can also book tours onboard without waiting in line. We did this on the Koningsdam in November. When we have any leftover OBC we spend it in the ship's stores. On the Koningsdam my wife found a Tommy Bahama long sleeve blouse she had been wanting. The price on the ship was the same on the TB website and stores. I have purchased several TB shirts over the last two years with excess OBC.
  21. Just for comparisons, here is a copy of a menu from the HAL Rotterdam from their CC forum. They are com[aling because many drinks are now a dollar or two over their standard drink package cap of $11. I think the prices here are still much cheaper than on Celebriity.
  22. Thinking back our cruise price dropped while still in the Early Bonus and we got a credit on our invoice cost. It dropped $200 pp. My TA handled this for us.
  23. We were on the HAL Koningsdam in November and I looked back at drink pricing for comparison to the new Celebrity prices. We had the Standard Bev package with a $11 price cap. I found the Chateau St Michele Riesling on the Standard Bev package for HAL at $9 a glass. There was also a decent Italian Prosecco for $9 a glass. I was able to get Buffalo Trace Bourbon on the rocks in the same package and it was listed in the bars for $8.50. I read that Buffalo Trace is now $18 on Celebrity.
  24. We board the Edge on the 13th in Sydney in a Sky Suite, I wonder if we will get that same misinformed email? I would take it with me and ask for my Own Butler that was mentioned in the email.
