  1. also known as a garment roller. Basically a roller that will hold a suit, about 5 shirts and maybe 5 slacks from a hanger that folds in half
  2. I was laughing because I deserved it. I'm a conservatively dressed attorney without a "criminal record". I told him I just like to dress well on a cruise. The first thing he opened was about a 10 by 14 leatherette case that contains 8 different pairs of sunglasses. I smiled and said "I told you so". He chuckled. I walked
  3. With NIL money we are rapidly reaching the point where college football players are becoming reticent about leaving college for the NFL because they'd have to take a pay cut or might not make an NFL team. The Big Pockets at some big schools are paying millions in NIL for superstars and hundreds of thousands for highly recruited players.
  4. So are you seeing more Solo cruisers on Norwegian than Carnival since they seem to emphasize it more than Carnival family cruise emphasis. Alaska might not be the best gauge for that
  5. How could you miss the Classic Battle between SMU and Oklahoma next Saturday?
  6. I got pulled over by US Customs a few weeks ago for a full inspection because I rolled off the Vista with a large suit-case, carry-on suit case, valet roller and assorted computers and hanging bags. But I looked MARVELOUS!
  7. Nebraska found yet another way to lose a one score game-something like 2-14 in one score games
  8. 3 hours since his last post. I'm waiting for Saint Greg to wake up from his siesta
  9. Spelling Test Practice Words to Help You Get Through Night 1. Ole Ole Ole Ole 2. Lido 3. Cheers 4. Alchemy 5. Celebration 6. Caribbean 7. Suite 8. Cerveza
  10. this is the most thrilling Alaska passage thread since Greg's mom-Eve Marie Saint -filmed North by Northwest. She would be so proud. Note however that when Cary Grant orders 2 drinks he shares will a friend
  11. Yeah but after cruising out of LA a few years ago I learned that even though the weather was moderate when the cruise ship is moving over the cool waters of the Pacific it can get chilly on deck until you get to Mexico. Probably won't cruise out of LA again because you lose 2 days of warm weather.
  12. Expert avoidance of room mirrors- a Saint Greg trademark
  13. Nobody has ever seen Saint Greg and Waldo in the same place. He's an International Man of Mystery. Harder to find than a Golden Duck on a Cruise Ship
  14. Prediction No. 1: Will get lost on Day 1 searching for Alchemy Bar Related Inquiry: Does NCL have a 15 drink maximum?
  15. The original poster has a point. Carnival and RCCL have gone full throttle family cruise experience and this changes the nature of the cruise experience. Its no coincidence that these cruise ships are built with a full amusement park on the LIDO deck but don't have room for a dedicated nightclub. A lot less late night action every time I go on a cruise these days. Things pretty much a shutting down at mid-night. It didn't used to be like this
  16. Carnival introduces a great concept -Havana Vista Class-and then drops the ball. This is why we can't have nice things. Just got back from Vista and an Aft Balcony which is probably the only reason I would sail Carnival in the future. Or at least until they solve the lack of available pools for 5,000 cruisers
  17. For you Weight Watchers-I jokingly asked and was told by a bartender that there a 27 calories in each straw. I actually think they are delicious
