So we are on the ship and just received word that in order to satisfy environmental compliance regulations our call to Moorea has been cancelled and will be replaced with a sea day. Asked guests services to clarify which compliance regulation we were not meeting and was told that the ship needed to unload "something" and had to be a certain distance from land. I asked why that couldnt be done during our 4 straight sea days but she said she didnt know. I would think NCL could have planned better so that all the passengers that have traveled half way around the world would not miss out on these bucket list islands!

the kids menu is the same as what the main dining rooms menu is and there isnt a charge

Kritycat with you saying she has anxiety issues please make sure she is aware that even though right now the open rooms are on your floor if somebody cancels or receives an upgrade that category room on a different floor there is a chance she could end up with that room. Just giving you the heads up so her cruise doesnt end up ruined due to room selection.

We had it happen to us this past June at Miami airport. Had to sit around outside for 3 hours before bags could be checked

thats a great question. How does one find out which port the ship is arriving at? We are on the NCL Spirit.

Looking for ideas for our port stop in Maui this coming October. We are there from 7 am to 5 pm. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
