  1. Wow…this was awhile ago, but I do have some notes and a brochure filed. I found this link - https://gibraltarinfo.gi/top-10-attractions/ At the bottom is a map. I think we visited most listed on our walk down. We walked from the ship to the cable car base station and took the cable car to the top. We headed in the direction of the Skywalk first. Then we did the side-hike to O’hara’s battery. After that we headed down towards St Michael’s Cave. Then we headed back towards the other side to visit the tunnels. I believe we saw the Moorish Castle, but were pretty hot and tired, and I don’t think we visited it. From that point we just went down lots of stairs to get back to the main town. We did encounter apes along our route. I can’t advise on eating. We stopped at a pub for a beer and then headed back to the ship. Enjoy your time. It was a fun day!
  2. We didn't walk into the port last year (our cruise started in Barcelona), but we walked out of the port and to our hotel. We had rolling carry-on suitcases and backpacks and were staying at the Best Western. We also walked from the hotel to the train station.
  3. We have been to Bonaire twice. The first time, a number of years ago, we booked with Woodwind for snorkelling and it was excellent. Last week, we booked a Twizy tour with Roadrunner-Bonaire. It was a lot of fun and we got to see the wild flamingoes! A highlight!
  4. We stayed at the Ikonik Ramblas at the end of May. It was a nice place to stay and the location was convenient. It is near the end of Las Ramblas closest to the waterfront. We were travelling carry-on and were able to walk to the shuttle bus which takes you out to the cruise ships.
  5. We were in La Coruna at the beginning of June. We chose to get off the ship and walk along the paved sea-front walkway up to the Tower of Hercules and continued around to the beach on the other side of town from where the ship docked. We then cut back through the town to the ship. After a bit of a break, we headed back out to the old town which is within walking distance of the ship and explored it for a bit before stopping for a bite to eat. We enjoy walking so this worked for us! I have a map of the city, so they must have been available when we got off the ship. As we were starting our walk a few minutes from the ship, we were handed a flyer for a 2 hour sightseeing tour with 4 stops. We didn't take this so I can't comment on what it's like. Just letting you know that this exists!
  6. We used an app called GPSMyCity which had several walking tours of Lisbon. We did the Alfama Walk. I paid for the expanded app which allowed us to use the tracking while we followed the route.
  7. We were there the end of May. We walked to the base cable car station and took the cable car to the top. Then we zigzagged across the rock taking in the sights and worked our way back down to the downtown area and then back to the port.
  8. There is a link to a printable map on this website - https://www.whatsinport.com/Gibraltar.htm
