Something I noticed in this video, they still haven't installed the seating for the FlowRider. It's supposed to be at the bottom of the FlowRider and the jogging track is routed under the seating. Hope they are still installing it, I love watching the FlowRider when I need to kill some time.

I can't wait to see deck chairs on the pool deck and balconies. :D

It's deck 7. If you look down towards the hump, you can line up the balcony floors and see that there is one below it, which would be deck 6.

Right now, the only photo that I have is this one, which is from deck 7 (I'm 99.7% sure).

 

 

 

 

Before we start going back and forth about whether it's from deck 6 or 7, check other photos, including the one below (and the similar Facebook Quantum group posting with this photo)! :rolleyes:

 

 

 

It appears that may indeed be deck 6. Counting from the deck shown upwards all 8 balcony decks are accounted for.

That actually makes me a little nervous as a parent. Obviously wave pools are a blast but the big ones on land keep you well back from the wall to prevent accidents. Combining this with the lack of lifeguards feels like an accident waiting to happen.

 

Then again, hopefully they're smart enough to have anticipated that, or it's rigged differently because it's so much smaller.

And hopefully parents will actually supervise their children :cool::)

I just ran across that blanket the other day and couldn't remember where/when we had gotten it. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!!!

 

It is hard for me to remember some of the gifts because OA was in Dec and then they were doing Diamond Celebration...so couldn't remember which gifts were "maiden voyage" and which ones were "Celebration" gifts. I know we received a bottle of wine/champagne with an Oasis label on it. We wanted to bring it home but had another cruise booked as a follow-up. (Can't remember which ship but it was whatever was RD class out of SJU at the time.) Anyway, it was in our checked luggage....which went to the naughty room. They refused to let us keep it. We explained we wanted to bring it home. Our theory was would we really have risked bringing it and breaking it, etc. to drink onboard when we could have drank it the week before onboard OA. LOL This was before the rules changed where you can have 2 bottles onboard. Mr Ski made the GSM promise to take care of it for the week. GSM kept it on desk the whole week and returned it to us the last evening. Still have it on display.

That's a good point...I forgot about Diamonds in December. :cool::)

Also a fleece blanket, commemorative coke bottle, tote bag, lanyard, and I'm probably still forgetting 1 or 2 things. Oh, and cinch sack at check in, before we even boarded. Allure inaugural was slightly fewer goodies, but still quite a bit IIRC. Some the same, some different, as I think I recall getting luggage straps on that one and I know we hadn't gotten those on Oasis.

I just found the tote bag. :D

It's hard to believe that the Quantum and Anthem deck plans still feature "More to Come" and it's now September!

I'm quite disappointed how RC has handled things with the Quantum. :(

I still can't book my speciality dining for up coming cruise in dec, so keeping things seems to be their way of having fun

They should be having BLAST at this rate. LOL
