Up.
They have to make up for the loss revenue somehow and how other than the cruise fare.
I also expect to see a lot of cutbacks coming up and an increase in price for like specialty restaurants.

We cruise in January, and I’m now starting to make back up plans for islands that will be open. Am I the only one?
Our itinerary is the ABCs, but who knows.
Nope you're not the only one.
We cruise every April and December.
April was a bust so we are doing an AI in Cancun in December.
Mexico has never really been closed though.

What is This????? They pulled the free and now there’s credit caps??????
This is huge IMHO. How did this get snuck in under the radar????
Is this here to stay?? Some of those amounts don’t cover squat!! Free 3/4th kids sail free is now down to 1000!!
This just gets worse and worse this year. l’m sorry for the negativity but I wanted to post this for those who were totally unaware as me. No pre-announcement on this either from NCL.
😤😤
Sorry to disappoint but it's NEVER been free to begin with. Ever...Ever...Ever..

I was wondering if or when a cruise line CEO would finally say its time to cruise. Del Rio finally makes a strong statement against the ban. We need to cruise, NOW. The cdc is WRONG.
He's anxiously waiting to start charging $17 for a milkshake at Coco's again 🙄

FYI, it is my right not to wear one, as well is everyone right who wants to wear one
Then cruising will not be for you anytime soon because I doubt cruise lines will let it slide so easily. Sorry 😀

It comes down the cruisers agreeing to follow the protocols. I honestly don't know that Americans are capable.
Right? I can already see it.
Passengers arguing and picking fights with crew members about not wanting to wear their mask, it's their right no to wear one, blah blah blah. 🙄

I listened. Del Rio was definitely the most heated of all.
Of course he is. He wants to be able to start the Nickel and Dime-ing again.

Once the CDC gives the okay for cruises to start, I'm wondering if the home port cities will be ready to comply., especially if their cases of Covid-19 are still high.
This will also be another issue.
Don't expect Los Angeles County (San Pedro and Long Beach) to open up soon. Just sayin.

So is air travel, restaurants, amusement parks, going inside a grocery store... the list goes on and on. I am guessing you are in favor of living in a cave with internet until the virus no longer exists?
If Noro can easily spread on a ship then so can Rona.

John Heald posted today that there is a crew plan in place, and he will be revealing more about it in the next few days. So 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I think we all know he truly means the next few months... 😆😂

Being that we are in September already and the lengthy process it will take to bring crew back on board I don't see how Carnival will be ready to sail in November.
Not to mention majority of the ports are not opened to U.S. tourists yet so with that said, I'm willing to bet all my 401K that Carnival will NOT be sailing in November.

I'll volunteer and take one for the team just to cruise again.. No ports needed. I know they have to dock but I'd sail around in circle for 7 days at this point. I've always loved seadyas anyways...
7 Day cruise to no where? I don't think I'd want to use my vacation time at work for that kind of vacation but if your retired, by all means live it up!

Who will still cruise with Princess...I think many in these groups won’t
I'm not sure about others in this group but I know I am cruising Princess December 2021.

Last I looked Eclipse is offshore San Diego. Since I'm booked on Eclipse in Early November I've been checking her position. The TP to Japan was cancelled but the Japan to Singapore hasn't been cancelled yet.
That could have been Yesterday but she's definitely in Long Beach Today and right now as we speak.
Look to the far right 😉
Millennium is currently in San Diego and she was here Yesterday in L.B.

Well well well.... Look who decided to visit us Today ☺️
Whats better than one ship? Two
Can you guess the class of ship from afar?
None other than the Celebrity Eclipse.
Celebrity Eclipse anchored off the coast of Long Beach on August 14, 2020.
She's beautiful! I'm determined to book a cruise on a Solstice class ship once this is all over as I've only been on Summit.

It’s a bird... it’s a plane... it’s a jet.... it’s Celebrity
There she is, hiding behind the Spruce Goose dome and closed to our beloved Queen Mary
Why is this rare you ask? Never in my 11 years of cruising nor my whole life in Long Beach have I seen Celebrity Cruises off the coast of Long Beach.
A closer shot reveals it's the Celebrity Millennium anchored off the coast.
Looks to me like she's refueling for her journey to somewhereland.
Excuse the bad quality pics, shot with my iPhone and not to mention a gloomy day.

Yep, that's him.
Oh no!!! I had the pleasure of meeting him in 2017 on Norwegian Bliss Panama Canal cruise.
He organized an amazing tour for us in Guatemala.
After that I never heard from him again as I don't have Facebook. My condolences to Diane and his family. So sad.
