I guess no fun Halloween cruises this year.

How is this still a surprise for some? The rest of the year is doomed for cruises...

Who is captaining a beaching ship? Is it still a Carnival captain or someone from the scrapyard?
If i'm not mistaken, someone from the scrapyard.
The Captain and remaining crew are tendered ashore before the ship gets to the beach.

Most likely due to French Polynesia opening up their borders to the rest of the world on July 15

For sale or scrap ?
What entity in their right mind is going to buy a cruise ship these days ? 🙂
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines announced Thursday July 16 that it is purchasing two Holland America Line cruise ships.

There must be at least 3 threads on this topic on this particular board, plus others on other boards.
Please look at the boards before posting a new topic.
Thanks,
And who are you? the boards monitor?
And actually the other threads are old and not up to date with the now 15 ships.

I am napping. I love napping and more napping on sea days 😴💤
I am going to wake up from my nap in an hour and then hit the buffet for a late lunch followed by some time in the casino.

Here is a better link without all those ads and gibberish 🙄.

Now, “we have made a decision to remove a further two ships from our fleet. These decisions are intended to align the fleet with the expected phased restart of guest cruise operations while also generating cost savings.”

Can anyone provide with me with what might be the obstruction from the balcony in M104? It is called "Deluxe Balcony Stateroom (Obstructed View)" but I cannot see what the obstruction is. Thanks for any help.
There is really no type of obstruction.
Sadly these cabin types are no longer a best kept secret.

I have a Princess cruise booked for December 2021- Tahiti with my sweetie 🥰
All I forked up was the $100 deposit per person to secure my stateroom. With soooooo much uncertainty going on right now, no way I will fork up the balance due just for a 10% discount.

I'm on freedom Oct 4th and I expect to be cancelled or rerouted. Most likely cancelled.
Roatan mayor says will not be open to cruise ships until into 2021. Sure he could change his mind, but my cruise seems unlikely in my mind. I'm just waiting it out OP like you.
This is exactly what I've been talking about. Just because Carnival is ready to cruise doesn't mean these ports will have their borders open and waiting. Then what? a cruise to nowhere? No thanks, I'll pass.

With the "dancing of the ships", the website will seem that way in the upcoming days as they try to remove and add itineraries.

The definition of Jubilee per Oxford Dictionary is
“a special anniversary of an event, especially one celebrating twenty-five or fifty years of a reign or activity.”
This would make the most sense.
Jubilee is also a member of the human subspecies known as mutants (X-Men), born with superhuman abilities. She can generate pyrotechnic energy blasts from her hands. 😋

Carnivale since the Carnivale was sister ship to Mardi Gras and same class of ship

What class of ship is the Radiance? Is it Conquest class? My Panorama cruise got cancelled. I was looking forward to checking out that new ship, but alas, covid hit. It will be nice to do a 3-4 day and be offered balconies now.
Carnival Victory is/was a Destiny class cruise ship released in the year 2000. It will be coming to Long Beach April 2021
Which Panorama cruise of yours got cancelled?? As of Now the Panorama is scheduled to resume cruises in October 2020

With the $200 million renovation, the Radiance will be like a new ship.
That's exactly what Carnival wants you to think 😉
But I too am ready for Radiance and all it's amenities the Inspi and Imgi didn't offer

John announcement this morning said the the Imagination and Inspiration are leaving Long Beach. He says that the Radiance will replace the Imagination for the 3 and 4 night sailings to Baja in the spring.
I am glad to be rid of those old Fantasy class ships and excited to get the updated Radiance for the shorter sailings.
What do the rest of you think?
It's funny how you say "old" when the Carnival Radiance which is actually the Carnival Victory is not much newer:
Imagination 1995
Inspiration 1996
Victory 2000
😁🤣

Interesting that a transformed ship will be doing 4 and 5 day cruises.
These 3/4 day cruises out of Long Beach are money makers. Now imagine on a "Sunshined" ship?? It will most certainly attract the demographic now $$

Yikes, as expected higher than usual pricing.
The 3 dayers on the Inspi and Imgi used to run at about $150 to $225 per person.
This might no longer be the cheapest 3 day weekend getaway for a while.
