Wow. Another fun day for you and your family. I enjoyed your Day 2 video. Lot of good information. Question: On what deck is the back area where you enjoyed hanging out?

Correction: Thing 1 & 2 Birthday Breakfast It is described as a “birthday party at sea.”

Today I noticed this new Specialty Dining option called “Thing 1 & 2 Birthday Party” for our March 2024 Valor cruise. It is noted as new and sold out. But there is still availability for Green Eggs and Ham. Will Birthday Party replace Green Eggs and Ham? The description is similar. I don’t think both would be offered. I called Carnival Fun Shops. The rep said Birthday was only offered on the Jubilee. He had no explanation of why it is listed for the Valor. I guess we will see when we board.

I was just looking at our cruise reservation and noticed that the Green Eggs and Ham breakfast is now more than when we reserved it. We paid $10 for an adult and $8 for a child. It is now $15 for adults and $10 for children. It sometimes pays to book as early as possible. I made 11 reservations so we have significant savings by going ahead and booking.

Family member booked a guarantee cabin once. Cabin wasn’t assigned until a day before sailing. We just wrote the cabin number on the printed luggage tags.

The Presidential Suites on Excel Class ships also have access to the Havana Pool area.

Re the Behind the Fun Tour, a Carnival rep told that effective January 1, 2024, you will be able to book it pre-cruise as a shore excursion.

My experiences with the Dr. Seuss breakfast reservations. Same ship on different sailings. 1. Could not make reservations for months. I checked daily. Then a couple of weeks before the cruise, bookings became available and I made our reservations. 2. For cruise in March next year, bookings were available soon after booking and we have our reservations. 3. A relative told me that she was able to make reservations on Embarkation Day. She said there was a table set up on that day for reservations. Good luck.

We also have gotten room access cards from Guest Services on a couple of cruises with no problems at all. They have never asked why. We’ve always had the person we want the access card for with us.

Yes, I’ve been having trouble all morning.

Depending on your suite number, it appears there could be either a single sofa bed and upper bed or a double sofa bed in the living area. If you check the deck plan you can see your suite number, and the legend will tell you the bedding configuration.
