Friends, we have been blessed with a sixth grandchild, born yesterday. A boy.
We now have 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.
Ages are 7 years, 5 years, 3 years, 22 months, 14 months, and a one day old.
Life is good.
We have a bunch of Royal cruises planned, a couple locally out of New Jersey to experience some new ships for us, and then some out of Florida to experience some other much newer ships, and eventually a cruise to Alaska, a first for us.
Best to all! 🍼🚢
Congratulations!
Enjoy your cruises and your grand babies!- 1

Yep, I’m back at the train 🚂 station.
A rather wet and cloudy day…. In Oslo
The girls are ready to rock Infinity⚓️
Roll out the red carpet and stand by🤩
The new roof is not finished…. It’s 95% finished.
Unfortunately we received some parts in black and our roof is terracotta😑🙄
We are waiting for new parts in the correct colour🤭
We could finished 2 weeks ago if it hadn’t happened🥵
Well…. It happens🫣🤥🤔🫢🫡🫥
On the positive side, it looks very good already👌🏻Time before departure has run off in express mode.
I packed my suitcase this morning😅👌🏻🤪
But here we are… at the airport and SAS Lounge
Yay!!!! You are back!!!!!!!! Looking forward to this trip report!

We're actually going back and forth on the photos now. teens. but while I have your attention about St. Thomas.
We have a quick visit 7am to 3pm. Knowing us, we won't get off the ship til 9ish so will have about 5hours.
We're thinking of just making it a relaxing beach day, but struggling to choose the right one. Can you help?
Wishlist
1) Stunning, absolutely gorgeous water. Last time we were here we had cloudy dark water and our friends went elsewhere and had postcard pictures.
2) Lounge Chairs and ideally umbrellas.
3) Food and Drink. Ideal would be a restaurant with bar service to our chairs, but we can grab our own food and bring to chairs if needed
4) No Big Crowds. I don't want the Magen Bay experience. lol We're going to be there Thanksgiving week, it will be busy, I get that. But looking for a quieter rather than busier spot.
Sapphire's facilities were a little meh last time we were there.
What about Emerald, Secret Harbor... thoughts on those? What am I missing? Other suggestions?
Secret Harbor is really nice. Make sure you have your taxi confirm a return pickup time.
Emerald is closest to Crown Bay and can be hit or miss with crowds.
Maybe Secret Sands? via cruise ship excursion considering your time in port. -

Thank you! We were deep in one of her inquisitive toddler discussions, and my wife caught this candid. I think it will be fun to recreate it. We'll see if the teen agrees.
I am hoping you will do a trip report? I LOVE reading yours and seeing all the pictures of your lovely family.
Have a wonderful cruise!- 3

I like their ads on the highway..."Potty like a Rock Star"...😆😁 and their rest rooms are really nice, clean and all that. The store is also very nice. We don't have many where we are in Florida, and the closest one is somewhere on I95 near or above Jacksonville (I think) which is about 3 hrs north of us. We have been to the one in S. Carolina on our drive down. And to the one in north FL for a very quick break.

I finally got to meet "in person" my newest step cat - Toffee.
And renew my acquaintance with my all-time favorite, Lychee, with the silkiest fur.
Meantime, DH met the neighborhood cat, who deigned to pose gracefully for him 😉
And on a happier note, fingers crossed we'll fly tomorrow afternoon to Athens, to join my cousin and her DH. Hopefully, this time we'll cruise together, since last year she had to cancel at the last minute.
With all the chaos going on, we decided to push forward our flight from Sunday to Saturday, to have a "buffer" of one day before our cruise starts on Monday.
So looking forward to "disconnect" from the daily "news" and finally meet the cousins, whom I didn't see from the beginning of Covid.
Enjoy your cruise Dani! I am so happy for you! Tell us about it when you get back.
The cats are so adorable, and just look at how Toffee is posing.🥰
You look great!

I don't have to imagine it. I lived it on our first Oasis sailing. We were stopped leaving the ship. Apparently a lot of people had the same issue with credit card info not transferring from the terminal to the ship. I was really pissed. I asked the guy at Guest Services why I was not notified during the week only for me to find out when I already have the stress of trying to get my family home. After he straightens it out he says to me that I can go now. At that point I lost it and told him under no uncertain terms that I was not standing in line again to get off of the ship and I wanted immediately off of the ship and gave him a big piece of my mind. He wasted no time finding me an escort to get us off the ship. There were loads of people encountering the same issue.
We have had the same issue. Surprisingly on Oasis as well. We were asked to go to guest services. We were not catching a flight so cannot complain about that, but bothersome and time consuming. Now dh goes to guest services the night before and gets a printed zero bill with account settled with cc..

We're three episodes in, very much enjoying it.
Looking forward to 'Moonflower Murders' . I read the book a while ago.
According to goggle it's on PBS on 15th Sept, not sure when it's on in UK
Thank you. I will check it out.
Hope you and Gary and grand babies are well and good. I haven't seen a post from you recently and was wondering what our British cousins were up to.😁- 2

OMG! Those desserts are heavenly! Now I know why they say "eat dessert first"!
I was reading that if one eats dessert first, they eat it more mindfully and not eat it all the way, since they are expecting to eat dinner........haven't tried that out.😉- 2

I posted a month ago insides on adventure 8 days to Bermuda leaving tomorrow went down to around $850 total all in. Plus obc. Twice they raised the prices up a tad and offered obc to grt you to book. I was already booked and nothing I could do except wish I'd waited to book.
Yesterday I was pricing oasis feb 1, 2026, way out and solo for a 6 day JS was $2,499 total for oasis. Bellas 3.5 is why I was looking, im already booked. Saw a nice suite out of pc on wonder dec 1 but it's now gone. Cheaper than I've seen in a long time. It's the same date as the presidents cruise which imo is why wonder was cheaper that one date for wonder. Same port. Just barely past final payment. There are deals on lower and higher end cabins.
Have a wonderful cruise Jane!
Bermuda is beautiful and I am sure you will love it.- 1

Did you guess the identity of the murderer ? I did not.I told a friend of mine that it is usually the least likely person.
I saw an interview with Liev Schreiber. He said that learning the dance was mandatory .Some cast members objected initially but they all enjoyed it.
I told RJ from the brginning that I was suspecting Greer. She was just too perfect to be true. But surprises surprises!
I liked the dance sequence. And they all did good.- 1

Because then most of us have to go back to work at our jobs and resume cooking & cleaning, etc. Not as fun as vacation. Less family time, too, as all of our schedules are busy.
😁So do we!
But never sad to go home.

Was the noise coming from CP or the decks up above? If CP was loud at night then that truly must be a party ship.
Perhaps from music playing in the CP?
There were small groups of singers/musicians/or solo playing nightly at Central park on the Symphony and the Wonder. Nothing crazy loud, but perhaps it is loud for some CP balcony residents, since there are people listening and clapping and some loudly talking and ha ha ing.
