  1. That's the reason I had asked if you had classic wifi, because it has been our experience that to do all that one wanted to do and connect to cc, post, put/open pictures in email, media, work VPN (for some) etc one had to upgrade to the premium wifi. It is not just phone settings. Some things, but not all was possible using the classic. I am glad that the internet guy confirmed it so I won't be challenged again while helping!😁😁 Now, X only sells the premium. I am also waiting for some flash or BF sales because two of our cruises next year are not AI and I will "furnish" them a la cart.
  2. I was wondering what you had decided for the Jan sailing. Good that you got the second rep. who knew their stuff.
  3. OMG I am totally with you on that bickering !!!!!! As for their partner ....... reminds me of that photo that Andrew, OB and Greg were thinking could be Rick's posting. 🤣🤣
  4. 😁Lot of speculation on the scenarios there!🤣 I am reading about the bag o bones malnutrished diners on board some sailings. How dare these companies take their money and not serve them proper 7 course meals at least 9 times a day. So bad!!!😉
  5. OH NO!!! Sorry I posted it on the wrong thread! Sorrrry. Some one was counting past sea pass cards and I meant wow (that's impressive). (I think it was Mariane on her X sailings but different thread!!!!!!🙃😁)
  6. They must be waiting for the Grand Suite to open up. 😄
  7. 😁 On some future bookings the upgrade sale was as low as $2.99 pp pd if one already had the included wifi. It started from $6.99, then went to $3.99 for a long time and then to $2.99. I jumped on it. For two others we booked bare bones so waiting for the Black Friday sale (if any) since those two cruises are next year. I hope to see you on the Equinox or another ship some day!
  8. You will love the aft balconies on the Edge Class ships. We have had them on deck 9 and 10. They are lovely! @cruisewizard will vouch for those afts! However, two things you have to consider: They are a long and I mean really long walk from the elevators and stairs. And they are not completely covered outside like Royal's afts on the Jewel class or voyager/freedom class ships. So we were not able to sit outside in the rain because the loungers got completely wet half ways. But I still loved those cabins. I also felt it was a bit longer, like there was may be 2 feet of space extra between the couch and verandah door ( inside the room). The aft suites are different and have more cover on the balcony since they are on the sides. Would I take an SV over an IV.....yes. We have a port hole verandah on our upcoming cruise on Beyond. We have it at the aft, again long walk 😄.
  9. Lovely photos! I am happy you like your cabin. I push the couch out all the way to the window so I can watch the ocean while laying down on it. Also lengthens the room a little bit.
  10. I try to avoid them too, but when the price is THAT good, compared to picking a room, I will go with it. 😉. And it was giving me a category (D2) GTY so I said OK. Although they did not give me D2, I got D3 (which they claim is considered above D2, but I don't think so, or who knows!😄)
  11. Same almost everywhere. I love Christmas, but seeing decorations next to Halloween decor is early! Although I must admit I go shake every snow globe I see and press buttons to hear the music....then I look away, pretending "who in the world is playing We Wish you....." carol in September!!!!.😁😇😇
  12. I am glad to hear that our Moscato lady is happy.🥰 Wish you a great recovery and hope you do not have any pain.
