Our cruise via the Viva is scheduled to leave out of the pan american pier. From the san Juan pier it is a hour walk to the american pier. So hopefully you ge tto the right pier.

They usually have 2 chairs. Just ask for a lounger and they will set it up for you. We where on the epic in Nov with a large balcony, asked around 5 on first day and it was there when we got back from dinner

Yes they will broadcast the games on the big screen as well in the bars as well

We have not set a time yet, We just want to check in and then get on the ship. We have usually go to the ship around 10ish and just sit and wait for an hour or so and then get on ship. But what I have heard in San Juan there is no AC so it get very uncomfortable. We could wait till 2-3 but have to be out of hotel before then.

Now that the Viva has started to sail out of San Juan I want to find out what time people actually are starting to board the ship. We like to get there early but also do not want to sit in a hot warehouse waiting to get on to the ship. Sailing out not till 830.

We just booked the Joy for next year out of Miami week before Thanksgiving. How is the ship, as we have been on 13 cruises with NCL but never the Joy so I would like to hear from all who have been on the ship and what they thought of it. Thank you for the help.

We have travelled many times during peak season and never had an issue. The issue I have was the set up. Never had an issue with that. Also, NCL does control the set up, They do know how many people are coming onto the ship, We traveled and met a number of people who were traveling with NCL the first time and they all said if this what to expect they will not travel with NCL again. Not sure you want that as first impression getting on the ship. If you are questioning your decision even before you get on a ship that's not a good sign.

We were on the Epic this past week. Overall, the cruise was good but a couple of things I wanted to share with the upper management. First getting on the ship was a joke. We arrived at 12:30 and I asked where to go for priority check-in being a platinum cruiser. No signs and we got three different answers. Noone knew what was going on. Then once we checked in we had to go get our key card, Another line. Food was great in the specialty restaurants. But the main dinning was ok to poor. Baked potatoes and I had 4 between my wife and I were cold. French fries where cold every meal at lunch. I did not stand in lines as I had a guy in the H2O as well as pool bars, but the lines people would stand in line for 20 min. They need to open a bar area for just beer. This would help out. Every server said they were at fully staffed, but looked like me they need an additional person at each bar.

My agent thru NCL is great She calls a few times after booking. Always calls the week before final payment. I would highly recommend her

Has any one done a massage on the private island. Are the price much different. I understand that you get to go the more private area of the Island to enjoy with less people. Anyone have any ideas. Thank you an advance for the help

Not sure when to book embarkation, dont want to wait in a hot area to get on the ship. Want to check in and then get on ship right away.

Any idea what time we can get on the ship in San Juan. The cruse before gets in at 7 and our departure is at 8:30. I know the terminal is not air conditioned so do not want to get to the pier too early.

You have to do Jost Van Dyke. Best beach I have been to. Bar crawl on the beach. Get off the ship in Tortola and walk to the transfer

We are on a cruise via the Epic in December. I currently have 80,000pts on the NCL credit card. Any idea how much it will cost to go from a Balcony to a Spa balcony, as well as how much it will take to get to Haven? Thank you in advance for the help.

The spa on the prima is not worth it. The Pool is away from the sitting area. Would mot do it again on the Prima class

Both ships are good. Look at what places you want to do and do that one. You will enjoy both

yes if you book thru NCL no issue with tender

Get in line and jump on tenders, Usually they run 2-4 tenders at a time so you should be ok. If your booked thru NCL you bump all other passengers
