I went down to front desk late afternoon the last day before we got to LT Lauerdale Nov 8-18 cruise. There were quite a number of people there to remove the hotel charge. I went down to get something.

I did this last week and got up early. It was crowed. But I did not stay there I walked to other parts of ship. On way back the bow was empty and well as other parts of ship. I went all sides of ships all had great views.

I have been on the Amderdam (my Favorite ship) in 2011 and 2012 to Alaska. I was in maain deck inside room.

and room 3355 Promenade deck never had any noise. I am back on the Amsterdam in 2014 and on Promendae deck. Its a great deck you will not be sorry. Bokk middle of ship. Steps away froom doors to out side Great windows. No one can see in.

Just off the Zuiderhdam. I fouind the food on her wonderful 10+ except the night I ate at Pinaclle Hrill.

I don't care about shows/entertainment.

I wish they would stop charging double fares thier solo passengers. We don't eat or need the same care as a two people need.

Get rid of the new cheap and worthless dailey programs. I have only been activly sailing the last 3 years In 2011 they had port news and a daily program.
2012 Port news was gone and daily program was the same
2013 they have a cheap paper and no news about ports. They have daily news of what happens on the ship. If you have not seen these horrible programs on cheap paper. We pay enough we should have a quality program. I was on the Zuiderdam 10 day cruise November 8

hi ok a little warning hot to do.

 

I had a cabin with a shower and a tub with those jets. I had never been in one before. So I took some of the shampoo and put it on my hand while water was running. I still did not understand who everything worked. Soon I had blubbles almost over flowing the tub. None did. I had to take a shower to get rid of the bubbles. I felt alwful as I could not get rid of bubbles in tub and had to go to dinner. The bubbles were gone when I returned. I did try cold water.

On my last cruise Nov 8 A pax died the first or second night. later in cruise A pax fell down the stairs and left in abulance, bags oacks and wife with him, another pax has a problem and fell was injured. Another PAx got sick and left the ship. Si tou never know when you need it

I was stuck in a huge traffic jam and missed her sailing away without me. It was rainng and brezzy wnem I left on her on the 8th. Will have to find the webcams

I was just on her left yesterday. I had no problem with A/C or Toliet. zo was in middle of ship I few times during the nigh my cabin got a bit warm but only slighly. Not enough to complain. I id n the layout of the ship I gues I have been spoiled on the Amsterdam. But I did see people at front desk reporting problems and I saw more than a few mainteance men walking up and down the hallways. Some with buckets. So Alhough I had did not have any problems others had lots.

Have a question. In port on my lastcruise people were buying hard liquer and others items, they checked them when we got on. I forget what port. They would teturn the bottles in a box the last night. Do airlines charge you extra for the box? I waent to Panama Canal

I look forward to going back to my room and see what is waiting for me. I would be very disappointed if they stop this.

Zuiderdam is a nice ship. In my personal taste she is ok. I did not notice any wear and tear on her. The Capitian and staff were outstanding. I guess I love the Amsterdam more.

 

Another think I remember being disappointed the yumyum man had those mints that are wrapped in paper (red and white) no more litle minted he wraps in a napkin. Also I no ginger. I saw dates, two other things.

 

I really loved this cruise and had a wonderful time. But there were just a few things I noticed.

 

I never had a problem with the wine steward in dinning room. Food and service in MDR was excellent

I wish I had room for the dog and mokey. My room was spotless as well as my balconey where windows were cleaned daily.

I am home I had a wonderful time. I have some notesPro's and cons. Most are minor. My notes are some where in my luggage.

 

No day of the week in elevators.

3 of 6 elevatos did not work but suddenely all worked as I was leaving.

ship was very clean. someone was always cleaning something.

 

New program is a waste of paper. Tells you NOTHING about a port. Want to go to beach you ask when you leave ship and told go right for about 10-20 minutes. As a solo Iwas not about to do t alone. It does tell you what happening on ship but other wise worthless on cheap paper. HAl has gone way cheap on these. I hated them.

 

NO signs on upper floors what deck to go t If you want to go ashore.

 

Food was outstanding except the night Iate at Pinaccle. I was a solo and was ignored while I watch staff fall all over them selfs at a table of two.Food was not good tastless.I did not complain. In main dinning room two of the couples each te there and one liked it.Others agreed with me.

 

he staff was outstanding dinning barroom.

 

Before I forget I have to thank Candy for a wonderful Meet and greet One note the captain was always around andwould speak to all.

I only get one per nght and its gone the next day. I had a cute dog and I was going to ask if I could take him home but when I picked it up it feel apart.My Last night (yesterday) I finally got the monkey. One night I forgot to remove the privicy sg and missedout on my towel anial. Inever get a collection. Its has been my first question to my cabin steward.

I am just back frooooom sailing. I did not have any problems, But I did feel a little warm at times, I had no problem with toliets. I will write a few cons I had about this ship. While at front desk I saw a few people complaining about the a/c. I was mid ship room 6069. My report will be on live from Zuiderham.

we have had rain at night and winds up and over 60 miles per hr last night and early this morning. we sailed in to port and i went for a walk. don't know how to spell portr. It was very hot. Did noy buy anything. walked back was tiring. but the ship awaited me and Oceans bar, Ship is really nice No complaints from me. I have heard no one complaining.

Oh meat and great was wonderful. all offiercers came. next time I will not eat breakfast. ship is beautiful. Meals are great and no wait for anything. We had windy conditions and rocked a bit last night. I am still lost finding my way arund. we turn clocks ahead last night. I will be off to wine testing at 2 my cabin is 606*I will tell you when i leave. Room is great

Ohh wow What a great ship. every thing is perfect I love my cabin SY and now spoiled. So far every thing is perfect. One thing sincer I been on Amsterdam the in 2011 aand 2012. I was not prepaided for darkness.So how my mind did not tell me it would be dark a 6 I spend the day in the water off I could live on this Island. Nop probles I have heard. I have to run to dinner. Meet a bunch of folks.

Hi Will be saing on Has Zuiderdam on friday night, Not sure if I be in my cabin or where. I will be moving around. Since daylight savings time It will be dark. I do have some glow sticks I will use on the cruise.
