i put address labels on everything. My first cruise to Alaska, My had my brother's small camera the first stop was Kitchean I had walked dodwn to falls and had people take pictures if me. On way back the camera fell out of my pocket on to the seat. When I got to my cabin It was not there. I knew it had to be on bus. I ran out and awaited the bus to return. I did not put a address on camera. It was no where. next morning I got a call sthe person picked it up and called me. They saw my picture and new who I was thier cabin was across from mine. All my pictures were saved as I had my big 2 canon cameras and took hundreds of photo and when I went to change the battery noticed I did not have any flash cards in them. It was sunny all the way to falls and it started to rain. So that little camers saved me. I would mess up again when my flash card got corpted after taking hundres of photo's in Tracy Arm. I am still trying to find someone with either video or photo's from the June 2011 cruise. All that ice was so exciting I never saw anything so beautiful.

Wow one can of beer ruin his cruise you have to be kidding. I look at what I cannot bring aboard a airplane, pro sport games, cruise ship. I am not going to bring a can of beer opened or not opened back to ship when it says No beer allowed, No beer means no Beer No a case, nor a six pack, No a single can. It say NO beer allowed Peroid. Why is it so hard for people to accept the word NO. Wondering if the young person at the gate let you on with the can and someone reported him Do you think He might be on a plane the next day home because he let your wife carry a can of beer on board. I don't believe for a second that beer was for her.

how is going to find a ship with No tipping... Or find a ship that crewmember stop what they are doing to run an assist his every means. I feel sorry for crews on other ships

Every thing that goes in my suitcase goes in a plastic bag. with my name and address on it. I also line my luggage bottom and top. Luggage is not water proof. I use aip lock kinds and those bags you squeeze air out of.

they have cheep ones at the dollar store. no one should have clothes ruined by rain, or liquids.

On my last two cruises to Alaska I amm from (USA) I have never recieved a OBC. My last cruise I did get a upsell but I paid a lot for it. Inside ti window in prom deck. Where I had to pay double as I am a solo travelier

the only way this will be overturned is when cruizers on ships that stop at ports where the offer wine testing/winery and you can buy bottles of wine to bring back to ship. Why would anyone got to wine country and not be able to bring back bottles of wine. No one will buy those tours and those the crazy and outrageous booze package. I would never drink that much in a day and thats including water

why some folks are so down on this program. Hey, for me and for many others who have reported here, it's FREE! Did not have to rebook, and kept my online TA low rate and OBC. No, we won't drink $100 worth of beverages a day, but what we do drink will be FREE! A couple of sodas, 2 or 3 glasses of house wine, it's FREE! Pinnacle at an assigned time, not ideal maybe, but it is FREE! It was well worth 10 minutes of my time on the phone with the TA. We are happy.

I am not happy Even though my cruise is on the list. I can't get it as I booked my cruise early for a cruise in June 2014. Unless I pay more money because the cruise price increased. So why I and others am not allowed and others are? They are holding my deposit.

I am not going to waste my time calling hal. If they do not care about me. Fine I will never drink that much in a day For what they want per person they can have it. Last cruise I was a solo and drank wine every night. I did not drink the whole bottle. I did the 2 for one and had scotch. I hate Coke and bought Pepsi on board But now I have not have a glass since I left Seattle last year. I do like Alaska Ale. but since my friend is going None of us would drink 80.00 a day. So they can keep that package too. Why bother spending money on the cruise for points. when you a loyal customer will probably not be allowed in the once beautiful pinnacle grill. You do know it will not be as special as it once once. Do you really think the food will be as good for free paying passengers

I don't understand anything HAl is doing. They give nothing to thiere solo guests. We don't even get douple points even though we have to pay double or more.

Now that I booked early I am being punished and not getting the explore package. Its not the package Its how some are getting it and some are not. HAl is going to have a very big problem when 2,000 people or more will want to eat in the Piniccle Grill. Then it will not be a special event. People will not dress up. It will be interesting when 3,4 and higher Mariner's

cannot get a reservations because there are 2,000 pax looking to eat there.

I am still upset. I spent the last 4 years trying to convince my friend to come on a cruise to Alaska with me. I told her about the wonderful service and evrything I enjoyed. If she was not going with me I think my next call to Seattle would be to cancel. I have been looking for month's to take another cruise oh Hal. But I going to look else where. I hate to be nickle and dimed and I also feel its wrong to offer a program to some and not to others. They have my deposit as well as others who booked as soon as this cruise came out so who is making out

I called Hal again and was told I had to pay for the higher rate to get this program. I was very nice. I asked for a supervisor and was told the same thing. I left with me saying this will be my last Hal cruise.

Wait till they fill up the Pinnacle Grill 4th and 5th Mariner's will not be able to make a resevation. How are they going to accommodate over 2,000 passengers wanting to eat there. I love wine with my dinner,but seeing this I just ask for a beer. HAl wants to take advantage of me with cheap wine. I can get wonderful wine at Whole foods for $4.00. But I am not goinf to lug it on a ship. I love the Amsterdam and I really love the crew and this is what brings me back to Hal. But I just started back to cruising and love Hal. But last few days is making me look else where. My last 2 cruises I did as a solo. I might be doing this one as My friends hubby

might be joining us. With the cutting of staff makes me very sad. I am sure other cruises have problems also. But at moment I feel sad. I only have 44 days on Hal. I feel sad for those who are feeling the same thing. I

Carnavel ruin Holland American maybe the company wants all her ships to be all the same her party time ships that sell a lot of drinks and people stay up all night drinking than the 60 + plus Pax

I just called Hal and was told I was not to get the prom offer because I had a lower fare, I booked when it was announced. I am paying full fare no sale or OBC. I was told since the fare has gone up I would not allowed to get this so called extraordinary offers. This just might send me to Celebrity My bother sailed on Hal to Panama canal last jan and Celebrity last May. He told me Celebrity was so much better. I go on Amsterdam but with all that is going on I might jump to Celebrity. I wish I could find a good TA. The woman handling these offers said it would not be fare to give me the offer since I am paying a lower fare. I bit my tonuge and ok OK. But am Not happy camper.
