  1. It is but for some, especially Americans, it is part of their culture so they see nothing wrong with it. But one thing I ask is to keep it the other side of the pond please.
  2. But the Glass House on Ventura is not an "original" Glass House but a renamed Ramblas tapas bar. Personally I prefer the Glass House on Azura despite it being a thoroughfare.
  3. P4C have always sent me a text at around 08:00 on the morning of the cruise with a request to text them when we are about 30 minutes from the terminal - not really sure if that is necessary but have always done it.
  4. Because they have the wrong stamps on them. There are some countries where they manage to get away with it or if there is a helpful port agent they will take them and put them on the next ship passing that way
  5. They do if for some reason the port agent does not take them until the ship is next in that country, which in some case could be the next day.
  6. Only if the adjacent tables were dining at the same time as you!
  7. Personally I am not that bothered with having a window table in any MDR of any ship. 90% of the time it is either dark or all you can see is sea. 9% of the time when you are in port there nothing to see - it is only the other 1% where it is an advantage. And I cannot tolerate having the sun blasting through the window and blinding me when I am trying to have a meal.
  8. It can be somewhat hit and miss with sending cards from the ship. If, for some reason, the cards are not taken off the ship at that port and the next port(s) is in a different country then they keep them onboard until the ship next visits that country (which in some cases it could be months, or even years) which is why we stopped sending cards from the ship - apart from the extortionate cost.
  9. The point is that the "best tables" is subjective and in any event not everybody can have the "best table" unless they are sitting on one another's laps!
  10. I wouldn't hold your breath. The general trend amongst cruise lines for several years has been that if something is removed as an economy measure then it never comes back
  11. That is a very grey area. Under the Equality Act you can be asked if you have a disability but you are not obliged to state what that disability is, or actually admit that you have a disability. However in some circumstances not disclosing that you have a disability and/or stating what that disability is can work against you. Who can, and do, only ask what assistance you need. In many scenarios there is no other option but to give what is requested without having any proof of need.
  12. Not just on fora - sometimes to your face, especially if you try to use a disabled toilet! In fact in many cases those with visible disabilities are more judgemental than others of those with hidden disabilities. For the record I do have a hidden disability.
  13. Not that I am aware of. You have to remember that this is not an app in the true sense but basically a few web pages.
