  1. It truly is an amazing experience and you'll understand why it is called an experience rather than a dinner. But--without Rafael, who could possibly be a substitute for him???? I am sure he is the one who trained the servers and he has such a distinctive personality!!!! We were not in a suite when invited. I was told by a staff member that it truly is a lottery system but did she really know? I was also told that it would only be on the Discovery, Sky and Enchanted. Hope you get to go!!!
  2. What a great idea so I just ordered 2--one to give away to friends that are always on same cruise. Thanks for sharing.
  3. We loved Club Class experience. On their lunch menu, I remember seeing bunch items such as Eggs Benedict and French Toast for those who slept late and headed there after 12.
  4. Remember that embarkation day counts as one of the 15 days so we always try to board as soon as possible. Disembarkation is not one of the 15 days.
  5. We just disembarked from the DISCOVERY this morning so the 360 EXPERIENCE is a very fresh memory. Like others, we were called at home but no message was left so we had no idea why? I certainly was unable to return the call. We were lucky enough to be asked once we were onboard. It truly is a lottery system to select whoever gets invited: I discussed that fact with a staff member. We did have a mini-suite and friends with a balcony also were asked to attend. Strangely, we were asked not to talk too much about it so I was surprised to see so much written here. Rafal and his servers were amazing and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed it more than any of the several Chef's Tables that we have attended. Hope you are invited too!
  6. Yes they do have such a menu plus you can always order drinks without the alcohol such as a Virgin Bloody Mary.
  7. Think I saw where he is still on the Majestic which I believe is in Austaralia/New Zealand area. Wherever he is, would love to be on his ship! He has an amazing personality and we were lucky to sail with him twice.
  8. Service with Club Class on the Discovery was amazing when we were on it last spring. We look forward to the same service during Thanksgiving week and then again in February. Love that ship and its crew!
  9. We cruised over two Halloween dates and each time, we were surprised as to the number of guests wearing costumes. One time, there were more children than usual and the children had a parade around the ship. Staff loved to carve the pumpkin designs--so fun!
  10. I agree with everything in the above post. Club Class is becoming more popular and I found no CC cabins available on several cruises. After our first CC experience, it is the only category we consider. We just got off the Sapphire and CC service was outstanding--thanks to head waiter, Petros and waiters, Dan and Aaron.
  11. I would try to get to port early. I think there are 3 ships in San Pedro that day so traffic/parking is going to be a zoo! Our ship (Sapphire) won't even be able to use either berth 92 or 93; we have to use 46. Someone on CC wrote that the three berths will only be used three times this fall.
