We have just booked for the Norwegian Fjords next May with the buy one get one half price and with the Deluxe drinks package offer, I was wondering should I see the Drinks Package in my cruise planner as its not showing, I have bought the Internet package and that is showing.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

We have just got off the Vision last Saturday and for the last 3 days they had ran out of Draught Beer and Pinot Grigio and other ingredients for certain cocktails. My wife had the Ultimate Package and I had the Select/Beer Package.

Ok they didn't run out of beer completely, but I do prefer draught beer over cans or bottles, but as the days went on the choice got worse and on the last day they had just 2 types of caned beer, the 2 packages as we all know are not cheap, so I'm thinking this shouldn't happen or is this the norm?

I know of other folk who were complaining that there had run out of what they were drinking. Other than that had a great time on her

We have just got off The Vision(Saturday) and we were in 8052 and yes there is noise, seems to start about 6am, with what seems to be dragging something along on and off for about 10 minutes, also can here people walking, didn't bother me or my wife, but she does wear ear plugs.

We are on the Vision sailing from Venice in 2 weeks:D

She is due back in port at 06.45 and originally our pick up taxi was at 07.30:eek: to take us to the airport, it has now been changed to 11.25, so my question is, what time do you think the very latest we will have to disembark? I know we will have to be out of our room pretty pronto, we will keep our luggage with us.

We sail on her in September and I have just looked in my planner and the Select drinks package is £21.39, the Premium £26.92 and the Ultimate £32.43

that's with the 20% off offer that's on, that's a lot less than what we paid a few months ago:eek:

Cant comment about The Vision as we are not on her till September, but when you come to Guernsey, give me a call and I will show you our lovely little Island.:D

There's something odd going on with the website today, so I would not jump to an conclusions.

Hope your are as correct as you normally are? as we are on her early September with a 3 day visit to Como, Italy before we travel down to Venice

Does anyone know what the price would be purchasing from the bar instead of pre-paying for the whole week? This will cost over 600.00 for my and my husband for the trip...I can't drink that much!

You will be surprised how quickly buying on a daily basis adds up, also you have to take into account gratuities on each drink? were as if you have the package its all included and to sum it all up, no nasty bill at the end of the cruse.

I know not everyone will have heard of this drink, its huge in my home town here in the UK (Newcastle), and I know that it did make its way to the US.

 

The reason I ask is ... on a recent vision of the seas sailing I swear I saw a bottle on the shelf behind the bar. I was gonna ask the bar staff but they were mega busy and I never got the chance, then I forget.

 

It's been bugging me ever since I got home.

Correct, if you cancel soon enough (again, I'm not sure of the exact number of days), the credit goes back to your credit card.

correct, they will refund the prior purchase and charge for the full replacement purchase. you'd think they'd charge you the difference, but NOPE. keep an eye on the refund, it might take 5-7 days to clear. after 10 days, if it still hasn't cleared, call them back.

I wouldn't want to rebook before the credit had been paid back? by that time the offer may have gone, so I'm going to ponder on it before I decide :confused:

No problem, you can cancel for a full refund. I believe you have until 3 or 4 days before the cruise to cancel.

So if I cancel the repayment is made to my CC ?

I have just looked up and the 20% is showing on our upcoming cruse, but we have already bought our package, my Select package was £30.24 and now £21.70 and my wife's Premium package was £41.03 is now £27.30:eek: that's a Whopping £149.89 difference over 7 days.

How does it work if I cancel and reorder at the discount price, will I have to pay again and what I have already paid is then just put on my on-board account?

Any pointers would be much appreciated

On our upcoming cruse, I have the select package and my wife has the premium package, I like a beer and a glass or 2 of red!! so I think at least I will break even, were as my wife likes an odd glass of wine maybe a GnT, but when we cruse's she likes a cocktail, but really doesn't know what her taste on the day will be, she has many times bought one(none package) and not liked it, so this way she can have what ever and if its not to her taste try another?

So maybe she wont break even? but she can have what ever without thinking I didn't like that one and paid £10 for it and then I don't have to finish it and have a hangover the next morning:eek:
