Here are the starters and entrees from dinner tonight.

The main casino is non-smoking. They recently added slots to the sports bar and replaced pool table etc. in the Pool room with slot machines. The former “pool” room is a smoking room.

Day 2 Breakfast and Dinner Menus - Central Park

Here’s a short video from the sushi restaurant which has $39 all you can eat sushi in 45 minutes. They also charge a la carte. I will post menu separately. IMG_6323.MOV

Here are a few pictures of the most basic of interior cabins. The room felt a lot more spacious than expected (or feared).

Ocean Cay is a relaxing paradise island. Speakers are spread out throughout the island with different styles of island music played for each main beach area.

Rock City was a high energy rock and roll show with songs from Bob Jovi, Heart and others. The six vocalists and cast of dancers are quite talented.

Dinner menus are available in the MSC for Me app, by scanning QR code or by waiter providing a paper copy.

We had a fabulous dinner in the Central Park main dining room last night.

The only boarding day lunch options for us (Bella NOT Yacht Club etc.) were the Marketplace Buffet (included with cruise fare) and HOLA! Tacos & Cantina (a la carte extra charge). Main dining menus became available in the MSC for Me App after we boarded and connected to the ship WiFi. Internet package is not required to use the app but is needed for any other internet applications on your devices.

Lunch! We found seats outside by the Bridge of Sighs.

We are waiting to board. There were two general lines before security for “inside check-in window” and “outside check-in window”. We were early and got in the “outside check-in window” which was actually a shorter line. 😀. Now we are waiting for ship to clear from disembarking passengers before new passengers are allowed to board. Folks using onsite parking were in a long line as garage opened at 11 for those boarding today.

We have booked offsite parking and are en route now as our boarding time is in a couple hours. We drove partway last night and stayed in Jacksonville overnight.

We are boarding our first cruise with MSC today on the Seashore for a 4-night Bahamas cruise out of Port Canaveral. This is also our first cruise in an interior cabin. We booked a guaranteed interior cabin with the bella experience back in April and were assigned an interior cabin about a month ago. While we heard others got cabin upgrades, we are happy to stay in an interior to “test the waters” without a window. We did add the drink package and WiFi on a promotion of $30 per person per day. We completed a status match using our Diamond status with Royal Caribbean and were granted Gold with 4300 points for MSC. After looking at the perks for Gold, there isn’t much that we will use but may check out the thermal spa for an hour. What questions do you have for us? We will do our best to answer using the available WiFi.

I am trying to figure out the best place to meet people to play board games and card games on the MSC Seashore. Any suggestions for an indoor space with tables and chairs or sofas? Thanks!

Hello. We are taking our first MSC cruise in December and submitted a status match. We received an email that we are matched to Gold with 4300 points. MSC 4 Me is showing Welcome status with 4300 points. Will we get the gold benefits on this first cruise? Thanks and Happy Cruising!

If you have a recent photo of a drink menu with protein shakes, please share it. I enjoy having protein shakes for breakfast and am curious as to what kinds are available on MSC. Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback. We are going to bring Covid tests with us just in case. My concern is whether or not we would be considered fully vaccinated and if we would need to test. The wording of 2 shots could be interpreted as 2 shots of the same vaccine or 2 shots of any of the approved vaccines. The previous verbiage for mixed vaccines was more clear.
