  1. Check under "Internet and More" for the Glass Blowing. The final price for glass blowing is dependent on the piece of glass you choose to make. The online price gets you a reservation for the class.
  2. I’m checking daily to see if any seats open up for us.
  3. Thank you. Somehow I must have completely missed it. It looks like the app requires taking a selfie from your phone. I was able to go to the web application and upload photos we had taken.
  4. At what point do you need to do the photo? I am checked in except for health questions.
  5. I am trying to contact someone who is currently sailing on Solstice to check on something at one of the art auctions. Thanks!
  6. True. This example is one reason to book direct.
  7. UPDATE — Friends are getting their money back!! 🥳
  8. We booked first class nonstop flights on AA through Celebrity Air with a TA and selected seats 2A and 2C. AA had several flight time changes prior to final cruise payment. We never bothered to check our seats until final payment was done. We are now seated on row 4 and no longer next to one another. No other first class seats are available. We are hoping passengers seated next to us will be accommodating and allow us to switch. Why in the world would AA or Celebrity separate a married couple especially in the age of COVID? Those airline tickets were a huge splurge for us.
  9. FYI - Let the kids know to hunt for ducks. We know of at least 60 that will be hidden on the ship - unicorns, ninjas, pirates, graduation and other assorted rubber duckies. 🦆 They may keep them or hide them again for others to find.
  10. Great review. We are also looking at going to mass on Sunday at Holy Name. What time did you get back to the ship after services? Would they be willing to drop you off in town instead of at the ship?
  11. Make sure the website and app you use for ArriveCAN is legitimate. My friends got scammed out of $90 per person -- $270 for a family of three. "Be cautious of third party, fraudulent webpages and apps that may be posing as ArriveCAN and asking you for payment. If you encounter a suspicious webpage or app that appears to be posing as ArriveCAN, please file a report with the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre immediately. ArriveCAN is free and secure and is the official Government of Canada platform to provide your information when entering Canada."
  12. I guess we shall see what is available when I sail this summer. However, the only reason I upgraded was the OBC offer that came with it. Otherwise, I would have just stuck with the basic package provided with AI. The OBC was too good to pass up as it was close enough to the cost of the upgrade to make us happy. It was basically like paying for OBC to be on our account.
  13. I tried to do some research to help but got nowhere fast. It looks like Celebrity was very selective in the double points offers that I found. It applied to specific ships for specific sailing dates with specific booking time frames plus you had to be an existing Captain's Club member. Royal's offer seemed much simpler than this as it applied to C&A members for any booking made by 9/30/21 and sailings from 1/1/21 to 12/31/22. Thankfully, I have saved a dated screen shot for the Royal offer for my cruise in November.
  14. I was actually thinking that Chef's Table would be a relaxing way to start our cruise since it is a 2-3 hour dining experience. We are driving to the port the day before we cruise so it should not be too bad for us. We could always pack nicer clothes in a carry on bag or dress up a little more for boarding the ship.
  15. Good to know your experience. Considering this will be November and Baltimore, we probably won't be in shorts and t-shirts. 🙂 It's more likely that we will be in jeans and polo shirts.
  16. How dressy do we need to be at Chef's Table if we book it for Day 1? Would we get our luggage in time to change into nice clothes? We are on Enchantment of the Seas out of Baltimore in November with a 4 pm departure. Chef's Table is at 6:30 pm. Thanks!
  17. Good to know. The website does not indicate the delivery charge but does say "Prices starting from $49.99" with an asterisk. I scanned through the legal mumbo jumbo and the purchase terms and conditions to no avail. I guess we will see when we board and decide then.
  18. Check In is 5/31 so we shall see. 🙂
  19. Is it possible to partially enter/submit Check In details without vaccination dates? We have a member of our booking party who will not be fully vaccinated when check in is available but will be 30 days prior to sailing.
  20. We decided to purchase the photo book for the following reasons: 1. The price dropped to $49.99 on our sailing. 2. We walk away with a book that we made and do not have to do it later. (I am assuming that we get the book to take with us when we depart the cruise). 3. We have seen reviews/posts that people are having trouble getting the digital photos purchased with the unlimited digital photos.
  21. An eyeglass repair kit could also be handy while travelling.
  22. We pack basic OTCs for pain, allergies, and stomach issues. We also pack bandaids, antibiotic ointment, hydrocortisone and antifungal cream. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we also travel with thermometer, blood pressure monitor and pulse oximeter.
  23. We reserved AA flights with Celebrity in January for our July cruise and selected first class seats 2A and 2C. When we made final cruise payment and tickets issued we ended up with 4A and 4D. That is for our flight to the cruise city. Our seats are showing unassigned for the return flight.
  24. Have you attended one or received an email that one is actually scheduled? We have signed up for one in July and are at 26 people so far.
  25. Have you checked to see if anyone has signed up yet? https://www.celebritycruises.com/cruise-critic-connections
