  1. Has anyone sailed recently with mixed vaccine series with one dose of Pfizer and one dose of Moderna? Back in June 2022, Royal's website stated that mixed vaccines were accepted but I do not see that language online anymore. We sailed with Celebrity in July with no issues for an Alaskan cruise. Will we have a problem with a Royal cruise in 2 weeks for a Bahamas cruise?
  2. We are visiting Port Canaveral as a port of call in November and are planning to rent a car in lieu of an excursion. Is anyone familiar with the Avis shuttle pickup point and where it is in relationship to Terminal 6?

  4. Hello. For anyone who has sailed Enchantment recently, do you know times for activities in Schooner Bar on the 1st Sea Day? We are trying to figure out a time and place to meet up with some fellow cruisers to do a gift exchange. Thanks!
  5. Back in 2007, we booked the Couples Rasul "Treatment" on Jewel of the Seas and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was a private experience just for the two of us without the spa staff. We were shown a room which included a sauna/steam/rain shower area, a dressing area, and various massage products like oils and seaweed mud. The staff explained how the experience worked with the timing of the shower area and left the room for us to have some privacy. Is this offered on any Royal ships currently? If not, is there anything similar in the spas on Enchantment or Adventure? Thanks!
  6. Jewel was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and remains my favorite ship. On the night of Day 1, I had the solarium pool to myself and was able float on my back and watch the stars overhead. It was glorious. My one regret is we did not purchase the cruise video from our sailing. They had a mystery dinner with cocktails in a lounge followed by dinner in the Italian restaurant. The actors began the mystery in the lounge, and they picked my husband out of the audience to strut the catwalk to "I'm too sexy for my shirt". It was a priceless memory from our 10th anniversary in 2007.
  7. You could also reserve the same time slot every day with MTD and you might possibly even get the same table and wait staff.
  8. We used my old work badge holders that have a belt clip. Those worked great if you wear pants or shorts with belt loops. I have seen some online at Amazon for $5 by searching for "retractable badge holder".
  9. We reach Emerald after Day 1 of our next cruise and Diamond after Day 8. So once that cruise is completed, will we get recognized for both or just skip over Emerald? 51 now 55 after Day 1 (double poibts promo on suite - 4pts/day) 83 after Day 8 (double points promo on suite - 4pts/day)
  10. This is my first Celebrity cruise so I am not sure why it is not showing up for Summit on 7/17. Have you been following anyone who has recently sailed? Maybe a recent passenger would know.
  11. How soon do you cruise? The menu may not be available yet.
  12. It is lunch in the dining room on boarding day with a limited menu of 2 starters, 4 entrees and 2 desserts. The Celebrity app has it listed under Loyalty & Suites in the Dining section.
  13. It would be great if the concierge could help with getting our first class airline seats together. I have been patiently checking everyday to get that sorted. We originally reserved seats together with Flights by Celebrity on American Airlines but the seats got changed with some AA changes. We didn't find out until after final payment was made and flights were ticketed. Thankfully, I was able to get seats together on flights to Seattle.
  14. Great question. We put in the minimum bid for a moveup to see what concierge class would be like without paying the huge premium. So far, here are the advantages that I have found: cabin location premium bedding pillow selection upon request upgraded shower complimentary shoe shine daily canapes complimentary sparkling wine upon request exclusive destination seminar concierge lunch
  15. Thanks. We will just put our thumb out and see what happens. 😀 I am sure there will be plenty of taxis available to get us to our overnight hotel.
  16. Thanks. We will keep that in mind and not bother them with silly questions and requests. Time is valuable.
  17. Is there one concierge for all 270+ concierge cabins?
  18. We are sailing in a concierge class cabin on our first Celebrity cruise. What are some reasonable requests for a concierge? We have been scratching our heads to figure out what the concierge could do for us. We would tip well if we can figure out how to make use of the concierge. Could the concierge help with any of the following? 1. Make dinner reservations with friends onboard who didn’t book with our TA. We have tried to do this online and cannot. We were able to make reservations with friends who did book with same TA. 2. Arrange a taxi pickup for us when we arrive back in Seattle. 3. Decorate a friend’s cabin for a celebration or arrange for a special dessert or meal for a celebration. 4. Provide port maps. 5. Request table location in the main dining room for select dining reservations.
  19. Have any Connections Parties actually taken place on Solstice in 2022?
  20. Woo hoo!! I got back our original seats on our outgoing flight!!! It pays to check seats multiple times each day. I am doing a happy 💃 dance.
  21. I have not done this so I am not speaking from personal experience. There are other posts here on Cruise Critic about the glass blowing class. Elaborate designs may cost more to do. It sounds like some basic designs are covered with the online price. Most seem to thoroughly enjoy it. I haven’t seen any bad reviews.
