It's a damp foggy Friday, temperature struggling to reach predicted 18 C. Supermarket this morning, some empty shelves where products shoud be. I continue to wear a mask, as case numbers are rising. Will try to finish reading yesterdays "daily". Had written the above hours ago, when suddenly my computer closed down. All good again.

When we visited Burnie, the Mayor was welcoming the cruise ship passengers while leaving the ship. The Mayor we met, told us that she was brand new in the job. It's a nice trsdition. Hope you have a smooth crossing of the Tasman Sea.

Today is a busy day, with three ships in port, Westerdam, Seabourn Odyssey and Le Soleal. It's a lovely suuny day, temperature 23 C. Also today,there are two University Graduation ceremonies in the city. Yesterday our electricity was turned off for the day, to allow a new pole to be installed. Again we were not notified that electricity would be turned off. Now i will go and read all the posts.
