I am seriously considering booking a Carnival cruise to Cabo on Miracle for some time in February.
We've NEVER cruised to Cabo, NEVER cruised out of California so it would be something different for us.
We do love the Miracle class of ship.
Wondering if anyone in the tribe has been to Cabo and can provide your two cents worth. I am also going to look on the CC boards and elsewhere.
Good reason to use up some Carnival gift cards that have been stored in the cruise piggy bank.

I've been to Cabo several times and love it! We are actually going this Sunday on Miracle from San Diego. We also went on a 3 day cruise on Miracle 2 weeks ago. I love the smaller size of the Miracle and the serenity area on the aft. It's a real treat to sail from San Diego since it's just a 20 minute Uber from home. We are thrilled to have a ship back in San Diego at least part time. I have the 5 day Cabo cruise booked again for November.

We will be on the January 12th sailing also. I've cruised to Cabo with Carnival several times and they always have stayed on pacific time. We will arrive at 8am Cabo time. You will have to be on one of the first tenders to make it on time.

Scenic Grand Oceanview! They are forward rooms with amazing views and a lot of space. We had this one on Splendor and have one booked on Glory in 2021. They are hard to come by as there's only 2 on the ships that have them. The Scenic Oceanview is really nice also. They have one big window and also a lot of space.

So True! My husband and I used to gamble every night and missed out on so much! We did get a couple of free cruises out of it, but realized we had more fun not spending all our time there. Of course those free cruises were not free! Thanks so much for your entertaining trip report!

Go to sea day brunch at lunch time and try a burger and super food salad!

Sailed 3 weeks ago to the Mexican Riviera on Splendor. Ships time moved ahead 1 hour the night before Mazatlan and then moved back 1 hour after Puerto Vallarta. It's kind of an inconvenience and wish they didn't do the time change.

We went last October and had pretty nice weather. It was warm in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, but not nearly as hot as it was a couple of weeks ago when we went. Sometimes the last sea day can be a little rocky on this trip, but we had smooth seas all the way!

We took an Uber to Chileno Bay 2 weeks ago. It was $7 there and $10 to get back. The visibility was excellent and there were tons of fish very close to shore. There are nice clean restrooms and showers, but no shade. We brought some drinks and snacks, as there isn't anywhere to purchase anything there. We really enjoyed our day here.

We did Chef's table a couple of weeks ago on Splendor. We did not know the schedule until boarding. They actually had us scheduled on a port day, but I was able to change it to the 2nd sea day at the end of the week. They had Chef's Table 4 nights on this cruise because so many people signed up. It was awesome!!

We reached platinum with the old loyalty program in 4 years after 10 cruises. Many of them were short cruises and we only had 47 days.

They told us we could have 2 starters at the Conquest steakhouse a couple of months ago.

We found the snorkeling at Princess Cays to be outstanding. The water was crystal clear with an abundance of sea life. We really loved it there!!

So excited to see another review from you! We'll be sailing on Conquest in April with the same itinerary except going to Princess Cays instead of DR. We liked our ocean cabana at Amber Cove, but the water was muddy looking and you couldn't see below the surface. We jumped in once to cool off and quickly got out and rinsed off.

Hey Tribe! I wanted to share my potato/mayo story with everyone! We wanted to buy 2 potatoes last week, but had to buy a 10lb bag because that’s all that was available. I thought I’d make potato salad today, but had no mayonnaise. Trying to avoid trips to the store, I attempted to make my own mayonnaise with avocado oil. I followed a video precisely and it just didn’t work. It didn’t thicken, so I tried to make it in to salad dressing. I added a packet of ranch salad dressing mix and it just didn’t taste right. I looked at the Ranch packet and it had expired in 2013 so no wonder. Ended up going to the store for mayo. Boiled potatoes for the potato salad and over cooked them and ended up making mashed potatoes that were delicious! Cooked potatoes again perfectly al dente for the potato salad and the result was perfect potato salad!
