Michael's Club was nice in that we got to meet the Captain a couple of times.

Here is a reason to pay early.

I got a new credit card.  If I spend $5,000 in the first three months, they will credit me $500.

So I charged my cruise with this card and got a free $500.

There is plenty of water on board that is free. 

It just does not come in a bottle.

It doesn't matter how good the on board water happens to be.

I will add:

In Micheal's club we were able to meet the Captain on a couple of our visits there.

With the suite, we were given the bridge tour, which was fantastic.  Really enjoyed that.

Debarkation was also nice, waiting relatively comfortably in Michael's and being first off was great.

Have you cruised before?

If you ever sailed on the Summit (or similar ship) you will find it easy to keep in contact with each other.

Set up meet times.  See you at the pool bar at 1:00.

Stop by the casino at 9:00.

During the day, most of the time will be spent going from the pool to the buffet to the pool and back.

We are also doing the Summit in July, the 14th.  If you are on that cruise, think about joining our roll call.

We have done this cruise twice.  Needless to say, we really have enjoyed it.

That is what we did and it worked well.

Cozumel is a nice port with a lot to do.

We had a great time, booked Private Driver, hit the wild side and a number of beaches and bars.

I enjoy not communicating with my significant other while cruising.

But, we do manage run into each other more than enough.

I was on a social media site, and an ad popped up about Elegance Cruises / Croatia.

Looked interesting, so I checked it out.  Looking for some input here, but, cannot find anything on Elegance Cruises.

BTW, I did see some very good reviews on Trip Advisor.

We did the Blue Hole, and it was one of the best excursions we have ever done.

Another thing we do is go to the MDR and find our table.

This will avoid the wait that many have in being escorted to their table for the first time. 

You can just walk in and go directly to your table.

Explore the ship, go topside, grab a drink, relax, watch the ships and boats around the port, check out all the hustle and bustle of the porters and the supplies loading up, take pictures.

Avoid the buffet and the servers with the fancy drinks.  They will be happy to hand you a drink, take your card, and charge you $10 to $14.

Michael's Club, great.  We were able to meet the Captain twice here and get pictures.

Express check in and out.  Great perk, especially when getting off the ship first.

Bridge tour.  The highlight.  Captain Alex on the Summit was great.  Took place sailing in the open sea.

Butler, nice perk, nothing great, but, he was able to take care of some special requests that I would not have gotten without him.

I would prefer the change to St. Martin from St. Thomas.  

Having been to both a number of times, much prefer St. Martin.

A stay at a hotel could last weeks or months.  But, unlike a cruise ship, you can walk out the door, and fire up a cigarette, cigar, pipe etc. any time you desire.

No such option to leave a cruise ship while at sea.

We had 1140.  Never heard anything from MUTS.

Nice thing about that area is that there is so little foot traffic, very quiet area of the ship.
